The prices are super reasonable, $5 for movies starting between 4pm and 5:59pm, $6 before 4pm, and $8 for adult tickets after 6pm. By the entrance, the box office is about the same as the concessions stand, we got our tickets and skipped the popcorn or drinks (I know, kind of unusual for us). Then hubby was not feeling well and I went to check if they had any milk for sale. To my surprise they did have vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavored milk drinks. Not exactly milk (like 18-20 carbs each) but it did help my hubby. They do have the fountain drinks machines outside the concession stand so you can get your own drink (and refills I guess). The movie we saw was in a small auditorium, did not count but maybe 80 stadium seats, wish space for wheelchairs in the first row. Everything was OK, the only inconvenience was that the door is near the screen and it is disruptive when people come and go during the movie. Ah also, the entrance is not friendly for pedestrians. We walked from a hotel nearby and there is not entrance to the parking lot by the corner, you need to go either East or South to the entrance for cars. Overall a good experience.

In that time we were able to ride the go carts three times and complete the mini golf course before spending the rest of the time playing in the arcade. I was pleasantly surprised to be warmly greeted by friendly staff and the wonderful display of jewelry, paintings and sculptures. It was my birthday and always wanted to buy turquoise and copper jewelry for myself. I was ecstatic to find something I loved from the display case! Went back again to peruse the beautiful artwork, especially the miniature houses and buy more jewelry. They also have art classes there. Will definitely visit this place again when we're back in Show Low!

The Show Low Historical Society Museum was a great place to start our trip in Show Low with our two…read moreyoung kids. The building is much larger than it looks from the outside, including something like 17 rooms that are all themed to different topics. They have a wonderful miniature train room, and if the conductor is there, he can give you the full breakdown and history of the whole set up. All the volunteers working there were super nice, it is free to get in with donation as an option. We will be back when our kids are older and we can thoroughly spend time in each room.

Because this is a small mountain city, there are many local families whose roots go back to the founding pioneers of the region. I was raised by my grandmother for most of my childhood and her farmhouse dated into the late 1800s so I was amazed to see many of the household items and tools that had also graced her home. One can easily spend hours at this museum, which whenever possible includes written placards telling you about the use of the item and the family that had originally had the item. It is definitely a place to take the whole family and it is not only entertaining but very educational.

It's fun to walk and look at all the stands and see and smell what they sell. Every stand seems to have something I would use but I really go there for the fresh local organic vegetables. I love the Hi~Vibes Farm Microgreens. They are so fresh, tasty and impossible to find anywhere else in town. My new fav is the tortillas & tortilla chip stand. The chips look better than store but when we tasted them-wow, fresh tasting & delicious! The owner uses fresh sweet corn to make her own masa! Then, makes her own tortillas and chips!! The tortilla chips are cooked in olive oil at the proper temperature so they're not greasy. We bought a huge bag for $6. Because they are fresh, you can refrigerate or freeze them.We also found fresh, ripe peaches that come from Colorado. They smelled delicious before you even went in for your first bite. They were so juicy!! I will definitely go back for these!! I will definitely be back as many Saturdays as I can. It is one of my favorite things to do and you get to enjoy your purchases all week long! I recommend it highly!
