I've rented tables and chairs from 5 Star for two different parties this year and both times I was thrilled with the service. They showed up early, made sure all tables and chairs were spotless, and were very kind and helpful. The second time I reached out was a bit last minute and they were still able to make it work! They delivered the tables and chairs in awful condition. The tables had dried food on them from a previous rental and the chairs were covered in dust. I was given lemon oil to clean them myself. i rented a bar table but couldn't use because it was not stable. When they dropped it off I was told to be careful with it. I brought this to their attention but was only told I would receive a discount on my next rental. Terrible customer service and would definitely not recommend them. Its a shame when you have a special occasion and rely on someone to provide a service that they have no concern for their service or you. Tables were very wobbly and restroom delivered leaked water in the women's restroom. We had to bring our a rug and towel to soak up the water so our guest wouldn't slip and fall. I showed them when they picked up that when you flushed the pipes dripped water in the floor. One driver said oh the roads are rough a pipe must have gotten lose. Same driver was driving way too fast down a one lane backroad and nearly ran the groom off the road when making a curve on the wrong side of the road . The other driver said it was condensation from the a/c. They pulled our rug out and threw it on the driveway before leaving. When my daughter in law called to speak to them regarding this they pretty much blew her off. Would not recommend as guest safety didn't seem to be important to them. read more

UPDATE: It turns out that the person who I thought owned the company is actually a manager. I was contacted by the company's owner yesterday, who was interested in having a complete understanding of the situation since apparently he was not aware of it until seeing my various posts and reviews. We had a long conversation in which he apologized profusely and offered to do whatever he could to make things as right as possible at this point. We came to an agreement over the remainder of the invoice and he expressed appreciation for the feedback, so he could address these issues within his organization in an effort to provide the level of service that meets his goals and expectations as a service provider. It is my sincerest hope that this happens, and that no one else suffers the same experience we had. read more

We used 5 star Rentals for our wedding on September 8th. We were referred to their services last-minute by our wedding venue, The Grove, due to rainy weather that required us to bring our ceremony indoors. We rented the pipe drapes with twinkle lighting which turned out absolutely beautiful as a backdrop for our ceremony. Sarah and Sasha made rental the process SO unbelievably easy and quick and they had no issues making things happen for us so last-minute. They were very affordable which was perfect because we were at the end of our budget as we ended up setting up the services the day before our wedding. 5 Star Rental delivered superb services and accommodated is at a time that could have been super stressful for us, but they made it THAT much easier. 5 Star really did a great job for our wedding in September. It really was seamless, from start to finish. We rented chairs, tables, table cloths, string lights, a few other odds and ends. I rented white, polyester table linens for my wedding and they were excellent! Very high quality and came hung on hangers, covered in plastic and perfectly clean. Used 5 star rental for tents for my outside ceremony. Tent quality was good. Working with them over the phone was a breeze and they seemed to be knowledgeable with the venue I was using and how the tent setup should be done. Rental cost was comparable to other rentals. They had quite a few fees listed in their contract. Setup was done early. However, staff used for breakdown walked through my reception rather than walking around the outside. Staff who walked into the reception were dressed in raggy t-shirts and shorts. They also stopped by the bar and asked for water. I am not opposed to giving bottled water, but I would have liked it to be done more discretely. My guests did comment about seeing them. read more
