Angel had the perfect timing with proactive communication and follow-up!! Both Patricia and Brandi worked our event and were AMAZING, they went above and beyond in everything they did. I am new to the Dallas area and was planning a NYE sit-down dinner party for 14 guests + party hoppers later in the evening and knew I needed help. I checked Yelp for recommendations. Most reviews were positive so I picked up the phone and talked to David. David was very helpful...he asked some very good "need's assessing" questions and I felt very comfortable with our arrangement. I received an email with the agreement and I was able to use their website to make the payments (1/2 upfront and 1/2 the day of). I received a call about 4-5 days before the event from Quinton. He wanted me to know that he was assigned to our event, wanted to make sure everything went smoothly and wanted to discuss details. Very profession and thorough. We talked about greeting guests, bartending, serving, cleaning...even what food I was serving and how much help would I need with food preparation. I had used a service several times where I used to live so this was not my first "rodeo". However, I was not expecting the level of service I received. To sum it up: I had pre-dinner hor d'oeuvres...then dinner for 14 ppl...then party-hopper heavy hor d'oeuvres! Quentin helped with preparation, keeping an eye on 2 ovens (endless), he carved the filet, plated it...all the while bussing the area, refilling drinks and taking out the trash!! During dinner he refilled wine & water and managed to set up the dessert bar and "re-set" the hor d'oeuvres for the late comers! AMAZING! I normally am not one to write reviews, but I was definitely blown away by the ease in working with Premium Event Staffing. I used Premium Event Staffing for my 280 person wedding at the Texas Discovery Gardens. I initially spoke with David, who ensured we discussed all the details of the event, provided estimates of number of staff needed, hours, problems which could arise, and explained everything clearly and succinctly. Everything from the first call through emails, booking and follow through was stress-free and easy to understand. Our Captain for the night of the event was James. He was easy to work with, very flexible, available to meet prior to the wedding if I needed, and his staff was always on their game to work quickly and efficiently. The staff doubles as many things-- bartenders, staff to flip the room, bussers, cleaners, and for all and any tasks that arose. They were incredibly attentive and when my drink spilled, they were there in less than a minute. Our decorators wanted to charge us an additional $1,200 on the week of the wedding as we would now need to flip the room, but instead I was able to add-on additional staff last minute and they saved me a significant amount of money. Even when this problem arose last minute around 9 pm a few days before the wedding, they were quick to respond. I shopped around for a total of 5 other event staff with estimates-- Premium Event Staff was a clear winner because of pricing, timing, communication, and ease of booking. There are no hidden fees, no surprises, and they deliver exactly (and more) what is promised in the contract. read more

Bartender Mike from Premium Events Staffing was fantastic! He showed up early, got everything setup (in the hot 95 degree sun!), was serving our guests by 5pm. His advice about getting extra ice and extra cups was spot on! We need the 200 lbs. to keep everything cold and serve our 150 guests for 5 hours. We really appreciated the shopping list that the company sent us for how much alcohol, mixers, beer, wine, etc. you need to buy per 50 guests. That was extremely helpful. Everyone liked him. As it was a luau, we asked him to come dressed in an Hawaiian shirt and he did. He served until 10pm (did last call at 9:45pm) and cleaned up everything. He kept a close eye on the several relatives that I warned him could be trouble and made sure they weren't over-served. We very much appreciate that! (At the last family wedding, a relative was over-served, got drunk and threw up at the reception and again in the car ride home. Yucky cleaning his suit!) Onestly DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE they will treat nice at 1st and thru training but right after they have thier money they will treat you like trash. Worst 600$ ever honeslty just get on the job training you will get paid and the education is free. Also keep in mind most people hiring bartenders laugh at these schools. read more

David, the Managing Partner, called quickly after sending my request for info into their website. He discussed all pertinent details and ask great questions to best understand what we needed for our party. The bartender and her associate showed up exactly when they were supposed to arrive. I hired 3 servers/bartenders for my wedding reception this past weekend, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. Unprofessionalism: I spoke with my lead bartender the Monday before my wedding and explained to her every detail she would need to know about the reception, but she wasn't able to make the event because of a family emergency. David, the managing partner, brought on someone else to cover for her, but no one called to warn me about the staffing change, nor did anyone call me for the event details that I had given to the first person. The day of the reception came, and this new lead did not show up because he got lost. I only had two servers for the first two hours of my event, and one of them admitted to me that she showed up late. All three servers left an hour early. Some of what I asked the servers to do was not in the contract, and I told David that I would never ask for my money back in that situation. But David and I had discussed that, for instance, I was going to ask the servers to wipe off the plates with a sanitary wipe, and he didn't even warn them. He kept saying, "Well, washing dishes was not in the contract," and I responded, "I understand that, and I will never ask for my money back on that. But you knew I was going to ask them to do that, and for your employees' sake, why didn't you warn them?" He didn't have an answer for me. I'm not disappointed that the dishes weren't properly wiped off because it's really not a big deal, and I didn't mind washing them myself later on. But I am appalled that an employer would send his employees off to an event without a lead, without notifying me that there had been a staffing change, and without giving them all the information that he possibly could to help make their job easier. Lack of training: David assured me that these servers/bartenders would be well-trained in serving, bartending, cutting the cake, etc. The bartender forgot the corkscrew, tried putting pour spouts on the champagne bottles (which resulted in the bottle fizzing over and exploding the top off), and my cousin (who was luckily TABC certified), bridesmaid, and brother-in-law had to jump behind the bar and serve my guests. When we were ready to cut the cake, I told the server, and she told me that David never warned her she was going to be asked to cut the cake. She also said she had never cut a cake before. The Contract: Premium Event Staffing doesn't keep track of their documentation very well. I paid my servers a 20% gratuity through David weeks before my event. The Monday before, David called to ask what I wanted to do about tips, and I had to remind him that I already paid 20% and was letting them put out a tip jar as well. Two days after my event, when I called to complain, he told me that the girls only made $11 each for the night, and I had to, again, remind him that I already paid them 20%. I tried to call someone else in the office to ensure that David was, in fact, going to pay his employees this 20% gratuity, and that's when he told me that he was under the impression that I was going to also supplement the tip jar (in addition to the 20% I already paid), which is not what we discussed at any point. I also asked him to add "cut and serve cake" to the services part of the contract weeks before, and he never did. I'll take the blame on that one, though, because I signed the contract before ever making sure that he added it. Customer Service: When I called to complain, David interrupted me every chance he got, and I finally had to keep talking over him if I wanted him to listen. I even had to ask him to stop interrupting me several times. It was David's job to ensure that his employees had the correct level of training that the company boasts about. It was David's job to ensure that his employees showed up to my event completely prepared. It was David's job to listen and rectify the situation, not interrupt and make excuses for himself. It was David's job to keep track of the services I had and hadn't paid for and to keep the contract up-to-date. None of this happened. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in David's managing skills, his lack of customer service, and his complacency in properly staffing my event. Premium Event Staffing has only two redeeming factors: David was very quick to refund me for the hours when the third server was not there and for when all three servers left early. I also have to highly commend the three women who served my event: Stephanie and Yopi for so quickly taking direction in a stressful situation for which their manager did not prepare them, and Leah for showing up extremely last minute when her employee decided not to show. I hired a server through Premium Event Staffing for a party at our house, as I was 6 months' pregnant and did not want to worry about filling drinks, emptying the trash etc. The server was supposed to arrive 20 minutes before the party. 15 minutes before the party she called me and said she was running late but would be at our house within 15 minutes. 20 minutes into the party she texted me and said her car wouldn't start so she wouldn't be coming.
