We are located in Leduc, and Leroy is the Leduc area contractor for Gutter Doctor…read more We hired gutter doctor to do an assessment and change for our drainage, and at the same time clean the gutters. The job was quoted at $800 for the drainage fix, and $300 for cleaning. If the job had been done successfully we would have no problem paying, but Leroy and his assistant were only at the property for 2 hours and the work they completed was sub-par. (It's a stretch to even call it completed). The drainage problem does not appear to be fixed (he only removed a downspout and said this should fix any problems. It is now putting too much water in our front yard and drowning our grass.) There is also still standing water in our top eavestrough and they are telling me it is not a drainage issue. The "cleaning" was haphazard and lazy at best. They did not use any water-they just brushed them out, and left all of the debris scattered all over the yard. When we contacted them about the debis, they came and collected it, and then dropped it in our front flower bed. Management has been made aware of the problems and nothing has been done. No one other than Leroy has contacted us, and it appears that Gutter Doctor does not care about the quality of work done by their subcontractors. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

As quick as they came they left with leaving a bit of a mess behind as we were assured they would clean things up, we finished the clean up as they were busy collecting dollars. We ended up filing a complaint with our the Better Business Bureau as we had a skylight that had a bunch of garbage in it. We had no problems until these roofers tampered with things. Here we are in April and water and mud are now showing up which means their cleaning up was and is an issue. I contacted the salesperson last week and no call from this company. We can see a water stain on the ceiling growing. Knowing what I know now I would not recommend these people to re roof my doghouse. Make a better choice than we did.

Here is a list of the issues I had. -damage to my AC unit even though they told me in advance they would protect it. No plywood cover was placed above to protect from the shingles they were dropping from the 2nd story. -I was concern about damage to my lawn and I was told plywood would be place down. Instead 4 tire tracks, 3" deep were left on my grass as well as a 20"x20" square pushed 3" into the ground from an outrigger on a deliver truck. -ladders were leaned agents my gutters scrapping paint off and damaging the shape. All damages were repaired, but if I did not point out the damage I don't think they would have repaired it. I also held final payment until all repairs were done. My biggest issue was the dealing with management. I report the issue, when there project manage came to my house to inspect the damage his team did to my AC unit, he was angry and aggressive from the minute I opened my door. If he apologized and said this never happen I would have been fine. I told the manage I wanted a licensed professional HVAC installer to replace the damaged part, but to save a buck they sent their roofer to do the replacement. I found him looking up how to take my AC apart on his phone. He had removed the screws to the fan leaving it hanging in the frame and did not flip the kill switch mounted to the wall. He could have injured himself and damaged my AC unit even more. Lastly if there office manager had bother to call me back as I asked there reception I would have much rather told them this as long as it sounded like they would try to improve for future clients but I guess they were worried that I would want a monetary compensation.
