I understand that mistakes happen all of the time and the "kid" driving was extremely apologetic, but unfortunately the owner, Alex Alva, wasn't. He refused to pay the damage and was combative when I attempted to seek reimbursement. It's not worth the risk as he will not take responsibility for his employees' actions.

I won't get into why the decision was made at the last moment, but I will tell you what happened next. When I informed FQP of our decision, they were naturally disappointed. After all, they were loosing money for a three night gig. But the first thing they ask me was if I would like them to manage the people as they arrived, not knowing of the cancellation.
