It's easily accessible, and on the evening we visited, every table was full of people enjoying a night out, creating a vibrant and energetic dining scene.
We started with the mixed olives, which were flavorful but still contained the pits, so be prepared. From there, I moved on to the grilled salad, which was delicious and ended up being one of the better food items of the evening.
For the main course, we ordered both the meat lovers pizza and the pepperoni pizza. The pizzas had good flavor, but the crust was noticeably wet, which I understand may be characteristic of the tavern-style preparation. While both pizzas were enjoyable, neither was particularly memorable or something I'd go out of my way to recommend.
The real stars of the evening came later. The Aperol Spritz was excellent, the Americanos were perfectly prepared, and the chocolate cake was absolutely amazing. In fact, those three items ended up being the highlights of the entire experience.
Overall, the food was good, especially considering the simplicity of the menu and preparation. While not every dish wowed me, the atmosphere, cocktails, coffee, and dessert made for an enjoyable evening. I would definitely stop in again, but next time I'd be a little more selective with my order.
