    Small bolognese pizza (delicious)
    Mike M.

This small Italian restaurant is located opposite Plaza Madrid in the Roma Norte neighborhood. Its outside dining space is probably larger than the indoor area. Most of the outdoor seating g has attraction vegetation surrounding it giving some privacy. I dined here in late January for dinner and was in the mood for some 'za. My order was for a small bolognese pizza (190 pesos). Here they serve it with a thin crust and I asked it be cooked well done. After the waitress left with the order, I decided I wanted more food and was going to add a salad but my waitress had disappeared. Just a few minutes later my pizza arrived and I gave up on trying to order the salad. The only saving grace with this meal was a very good tasting pizza. Bolognese is a different take on a pizza with pomodoro sauce, pizza cheese, meat ragu with red wine, fresh mozzarella and Parmesan. I enjoyed it and considered it a winner (4). The service however sucked. The waitress abandoned the table during the meal and kept me from ordering more food. Minus 1 star!

This place is so cute and romantic, I certainly feel I need to come back. Food was exquisite. Our waiter was very attentive too.

The food is absolutely delicious, and there is something for everyone! We stopped here one day after a walk in Chapultepec Park. There was pizza, seafood, vegan options, and more. I ordered baked salmon. Other items ordered at our table were walnut and pear salad, margherita pizza, calamari, truffle fries, beets, and croquettes. We all really enjoyed our food, but the walnut & pear salad was the best thing I've ever had! The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. Menus are available in Spanish or English.

Excellent little while in the wall pizza place! Great pizza and cocktails. The staff was friendly, but very slow (bring your patience here). It was a lovely find, I will be back for sure!

Good pizza. Great service. Touristy spot. Diavola Pizza - 4/5 Tasty Pizza. Service was super friendly and helpful. Busy restaurant. Nice patio and outside views.

Take out was great, I tried other pizza dnd snacks but this food is so good. I used rappi but there were small things that made the service extraordinary like the cute way they drew my name on the box and all the toppings in the bag! This is CDMX kind of food and service. I also think this restaurant is gorgeous and I feel like it's so beautiful inside. I want to decorate my house like this place:)

    Gorgonzola and Pear pizza

Took a rainy evening stroll from our Airbnb to Cancino Roma Norte, and it was worth every damp sidewalk. We split the Gorgonzola & Pear pizza--creamy gorgonzola, a drizzle of honey, fresh rosemary, crunchy walnuts, and slices of pear. Man, what a perfect "pear-ing" (pun intended! ). The crust was pillowy-soft yet held its shape, and the whole place had a dim, cozy atmosphere with super-chill vibes. Shout-out to our waiter Axel for the kind and attentive service. Definitely recommend!

If you're in the mood for some cozy Italian vibes, this spot is perfect. The staff is super friendly, and the pizza is delicious--definitely a great choice for a relaxed, feel-good meal.

Solid spot. My mom and I hobbled in exhausted after walking from the Zocalo (plus all the walking we did there) so we were starved and tired and looking for basically anything. We didn't expect to have such a great experience and I'm so glad we ended up here! We started with the pear and nut salad which had smoked pears, Gorgonzola, candied walnuts and an excellent dressing. The salad was REALLY good - probably the best salad I've had in CDMX so far. We followed it up with the pizza topped with pancetta, green onions, and maple syrup. It was excellent - so unique and a wonderful flavor combo. Definitely would recommend. We finished with the banana tart with dulce de leche. It was fabulous. Highly recommend as well - really, you could copy our entire meal and not go wrong. Our serve Luis was attentive and friendly too. The ambiance is lovely with tons of outdoor seating amongst the greenery with a view of the Fuente de Cibeles. Great spot!

Pizza was as good as I get at home. Done perfectly with thin crust, flavorful and brought to table right out of the pizza oven. Service was excellent too, with a very pretty inside. Also enjoyed their salad that had a delicious dressing. I'm happy I stopped eating Mexican food to enjoy a taste of Italy. Thank you to the staff as well for being so nice.

    Fried calamari
    Ricardo B.

We just finished eating here and I cannot recommend this place. The food overall was ok but the service was horrendous! We had fried calamari to start and they were ok. Nothing good, nothing bad. Then we ordered two pizzas and waited. Eventually one pizza came out and the other one never did. Pizza was pancetta with maple syrup which we asked for to be on the side. The maple syrup was so on the side that it actually never made it to the table The second pizza was Gorgonzola and pears and I can only assume that they had to grow the pears cause we sat and waited for it. Saw other tables come and go and our pizza was like the maple syrup: not to be seen anywhere. We asked 4 different people and when it finally came out, I asked: did you go get the ingredients from Spain or what? That particular server was the only that apologized. There was mix up in the kitchen. Which is totally fine but keep the customer in the know. I asked for the check and then we sat and waited some more. I actually saw our server: Faty serve another table after the hostess asked her to bring us our check. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what. She came by the table once to introduce herself and then never saw her again. At the very least, Faty needs to be sent to server school or something because her customer service was zero to non existent.

I say seated with parenthesis because most people end up standing here but we got lucky that a couple was leaving as we were right next to them after being asked our drink orders. It's kind of a weird system that they have and I think the staff didn't realize we didn't have our drink orders taken yet and asked the people behind us for theirs which was slightly annoying. It was a bit chaotic so I can see why it happened, but I do think they need a slightly better system. Anyways, the drinks were excellent and I love that they gave us a little small snack that included crickets (which I hadn't tried before yet). The vibes in here are really nice too. I love the dim lighting and the almost rock/clay atmosphere. The bathroom area is smaller than I was expecting but it was ok. I'd definitely return!

There are no seats, this is a standing bar except a few uncomfortable bar stools. Drinks were good, but I expected more. I got the colada and it was good, not too sweet. Almost clarified colada. Everything was very spirit forward which few of our friends really liked. This felt like a one time visit for me in CDMX

Honestly the openness is welcome on this cool autumn day although the sounds of cars and people was sometimes a touch distracting. Music was fun but not particularly heavy, maybe more of a casual date than something velvety. Service was quite attentive and prompt although I did arrive quite early and there weren't very many people there. Not all the waitstaff are very fluent in English but they are happy to bring someone who is if you have questions. They are the sister bar/restaurant to La Clandestina which is literally right next door which also focusses on Mezcal. Honestly, I don't really know what the difference is between the two aside from the people who are literally mixing the drinks and serving you as the house mezcals are also under the La Clandestina name. Ordered their Habanero house cocktail which was a mix of their Espadin Joven Mezcal, orange liqueur, and a raspberry/bluebery/habanero syrup garnished with a dehydrated orange slice and rimmed with salt, chili, and maybe some more habanero. Note, the menu doesn't actually mention the syrup, I dragged that out of them since I was wondering why the cocktail was so pink and also tasted like it definitely had more than mezcal and orange liqueur in it. The end cocktail is a light and fruity affair but not particularly sweet or acidic and actually balanced out with the body and smoke of the mezcal. I normally despise salt rims, finding it overpowering on first sip and nonexistent on the next but theirs toned down the salt levels enough that each sip around the rim was actually quite pleasant. The habanero in the syrup maybe offers a smidge of vegetal notes and a little bit of spice if you're particularly sensitive to it but the rim itself was actually a delight, giving a light tingle to the lips with each sip. I wouldn't say the cocktail was particularly spicy but more tingly which I found myself actually preferring over other chili included cocktails I've had in the past. They do offer a variety of bottles of tequila and mezcal to sell and take home with you, notably the ones under the Clandestina name that are made just for the bar. Not all of these tequilas and mezcals are available to try directly but the bartenders will offer you a shot of the closest one that is available on the menu (mind you, trying a shot is just paying for an ounce/35 ml of the stuff but that's all on the menu). I decided to give that a shot before biting the bullet on a whole bottle of mezcal. The shot of mezcal comes in a glass wider than a traditional shot glass so you can actually sip the thing comfortably and they also give you a few orange slices with tajin to chase/nibble on. Apparently they offer a flight of mezcal which I'd honestly recommend, especially if you're here with some friends. Definitely recommend coming by for well executed cocktails but particularly for the chance to try Mezcal of varying regional origin, age, and abv.

Well on the night before we left,we finally squeezed this bar into our itinerary and man, am I glad we did. This bar was so freaking cool. The ambiance felt great-there was an energy in the room. The staff was so awesome,so friendly-they offered to make us anything we wanted, even drinks that were not on the menu. They would ask us, what type of cocktails we liked, what liquors, what we didn't like and just come up with a drink on the spot-they were a very impressive staff.I also liked how they would make drinks as a team, one person did one part of it, then passed it to another person who would handle another part,by the time it got to us , the entire team had a hand in making our drinks-it was kinda odd but amusing at the same time. The crowd was definitely touristy as I didn't see very many locals at this bar ,though did run into a woman traveling on business from Sacramento and I thought that was just the most random thing ever. I think the coolest part of this bar on this visit was about halfway through our time there, the bartender asked if we wanted to see their "speakeasy" in the back of the bar-so he took us in the back and stopped us at this kind of nondescript door and opened it and it took us to a speakeasy in the back that contained the bar's rarest alcohols and another bar that was totally isolated from the main bar-was a really cool experience. In closing, If you ever find yourself in the Roma Norte district of Mexico City, I highly recommend visiting Limantour bar and ask them to take you to the speakeasy-it's an awesome experience. PS-I almost forgot, just to validate my feelings on this bar-they have won a Top 50 bar award globally for like the last 5 years straight-a very special spot and a must visit in the bar scene in Roma Norte.
