Very very disappointed. I have waited since December to get in with Dr. Decker since my parents both went to her. First, I called and they were closed for about 3 weeks over the break. I should have just found another Dr. but wanted to stick with the family trend. When I called to schedule the appointment, the receptionist was absolutely rude. They only see new clients once a month. Ok, so I scheduled for the 2 hour appointment for new clients. Because of this duration, I took a day off from work. I showed up and the receptionist said that she had tried to reach me to let me know that the Dr. had to meet with an attorney and had to reschedule. First, I understand things change... it's business. If you cannot reach people by phone, send the client an email. Second, my whole experience has been a disaster. I gave the receptionist the benefit of the doubt, that maybe she was having a rough day, but it turns out she is just an awful human. I would not recommend this Chiropractor to anyone, I doubt my family would either. I don't do business with people who waste my time. read more

When you find once or a group who care, you've hit the jackpot! At this time I'm currently going for chiropractic care, with Dr. Katie Decker. She's amazing, in tune with her patients, and truly cares about your health as a whole. The rest of the office has Pilates, Counseling, Nutritional Counseling, Reiki Healing, and Massage Therapy. I've been having migraines and hormone issues for a while. Dr. Decker's care has brought quick relief, while we continue to focus on ways to improve my diet and exercise regimen. It's rare to find doctors who care with a holistic approach. Needless to say, I highly recommend going here for many of your health needs! read more

I cannot say enough about 5280 Balanced Health Center. I have known Dr. Decker for quite a few years and was very excited when I learned she started her own practice. Her style is comforting and really makes a difference. And that shows in the people she has chosen to surround herself with. Every staff member that I have interacted with has been incredible. They are kind, thoughtful, remember you and your family. I am so thankful to have found this practice. Dr. Decker has 'fixed' issues in my neck, back, jaw, elbows, ribs... the works! She introduced me to Beckie, the acupuncturist. Working in conjunction with both of them, I feel better than I ever have. I am excited to use her services when I become pregnant again. From the women I have spoken to in the lobby, she really understands the female body and does incredible work on pregnant women and babies. I received a Reiki healing and acupuncture treatment from Jill. The initial appointment is longer than others I've had but so worth it! I came out of that appointment feeling much more balanced, more calm and the issues I needed addressed didn't bother me until quite a long time after my session. I wish there was a zero star option. Dr. Decker and her staff member Diane are extremely unprofessional and change their policy to suit there needs. I had a message (still have it) from them confirming my appointment and directing me to contact them ONLY IF I CAN NOT MAKE IT. The message also states that filling out paperwork in advance is 'helpful'. Less than a day after that message, they went ahead and unilaterally cancelled my appointment that I had to make weeks in advance. When I spoke to them, they changed their reasoning and told me that this is their 'protocol', which is inconsistent with the message left for me. The worst part is that when I spoke to them, they were adamant about telling me how many patients they have, implying that they just don't care about the commitment they made to me. It's just a greedy and unprofessional approach that is very disappointing. read more

Everybody in this office is AMAZING! Dr. Katie is not only an amazing Chiropractor but she is super down to earth and fun to talk to. I have also used both Mara and Mechelle for massage therapy. Mara is very good at helping you feel relaxed, and Mechelle is very targeted and especially good at working tight areas. Dr. Katie Decker is an amazing chiropractor!!!! You wont find a more loving caring person. She's been treating our family for many years. She's helped me with migraines, through my entire pregnancy, helped induce my labor naturally and even treated our 4 day old baby girl! A life changer. Dr Katie is a blessing and an amazing healer. I had substantial neck, face and upper back problems related to bells palsey as well as general / high amounts of stress. Katie is an amazing Chiropractic provider. That is where this good review ends. For over 8 months I have had to fight with Dr. Decker's practice because of their incorrect billing, they basically overcharged me about $20 every visit. Although they have a contract with Anthem, (my insurance) Diane (office manager and mother) refused to honor it and became verbally aggressive with me and my insurance representative and even told my insurance company they did not understand medical billing and coding. I did eventually recieve my refund from them, but will not go back since Diane refuses to bill me correctly or read the contract 5280 Balanced Health has with Anthem Blue Cross. I encourage all of you to go through your bills and make sure they are correct because it's easier to keep your money than try and get it back. read more

Had a nerve injury last year and decided to see if chiropractic would help once I healed up. My wife suggested I try this place, as it is in the same building as her office, and even without using my insurance, it's comparable to a co-pay. Dr. Decker is amazing, and will always adjust anything you ask her to. She's very hands on, no x-rays, old-school, in her manipulations, which is exactly what I was looking for. I've been to many chiropractors in the area, but usually only once, as I want adjusted, not x-rayed and talked to and counseled, etc. I grew up with an old-school chiropractor back home, who was very hands on and didn't use all the cool machines or waste time on the new, experimental stuff, which is why Dr. Decker is a perfect fit for me. I've been going every 3-4 weeks for maintenance the past several months, after several initial months of getting me back into alignment and I haven't felt this good in a long time. After the first couple appointments, I actually stretched out and was a couple inches taller, back to the 6'3" height I used to be, rather than 6'1" as I had shrunk down to while my joints were compressed for so long. Easy to schedule, easy to get to, very good office staff. They also do acupuncture, massage, Pilates and a variety of other services through other providers in her office, but I've only utilized the chiropractic, which I have been very pleased with. read more
