I took my first online course last night called "Woman know thyself". I am a 33 year old woman who suffers from many "woman issues" and thought that this course may be helpful, as the discussions are about anything and everything you need/should know about your body... and yes... this includes your VAGINA! I've spent years listening to my lady doctor talk about my VAGINA, and to be honest, It's always felt a little awkward and weird. The course instructor, Dr.Welch, is fantastic! Her knowledge and genuine care for all woman's bodies and health is clear when she teaches. She makes it really easy, and even fun talking about VAGINAS! The format of the online course allows you to show yourself, and see others in the group... or if you choose, no video of you at all. You can stay anonymous! I chose not to show myself last night, but I may next week! It's a comfortable, safe space to talk about this subject, and the other ladies in the group are super fun! My husband and I both had virtual sessions done by Ms. Jamie. My husband had his done a couple days before me and he couldn't stop talking about how wonderful he felt. How much lighter his energy felt. So of course I had to try it for myself. I've had readings done years ago and I have to admit because of that, I was skeptical. I dont know about all the practitioners at DPP because I only see Tori (Victoria), but she's amazing. I've been seeing her for years now...she is a chiropractor, massage therapist and she does cellular release therapy (emotional clearing), and P-DTR (a practice that works with your central nervous system to ensure that your brain is communication adequately with your muscles so your muscles are firing appropriately). I've had numerous sessions where I've walked in barely able to walk and in pain and she uses all her modalities on me until my body is working in harmony again and I'm back to normal. Her approach is gentle, yet extremely effective. She's not arrogant and pushy like most doctors; she's kind, personable, silly, and she communicates well, including you in every step of her process. Wow! At first I didn't really know what to expect. I have talked to Noah before about DPPS but could never make time to go in. All I can say is, I am glad I finally did go see him! I had a hard time sleeping and well just relaxing in general! I have had a lot of surgeries in my past and that came with a lot of brain activity I was not aware of. I had essentially lost my life to vertigo and other balance issues. The doctors deemed it to be "vestibular migraines" and they threw drugs that didn't really help at it. I met Jamie and Noah a couple years ago. Initially, I went in for help with pain from carpal tunnel. I was considering surgery because the pain had gotten so bad. I have suffered 3 TBIs in the last 35 years and the last one was 5 years ago and caused me to go on on disability. Although I have improved over time, I am still unable to work. I have now been seeing Jamie for about 6 weeks and I am very impressed with her ability to help stabilize my cognitive functioning after very stressful events that causes cognitive fatigue and a decline in my overall cognitive functioning. I have been suffering from a chronic case of plantar fasciitis for almost a year. I have stretched diligently, and attended weekly physical therapy sessions to no avail.
