Genuinely one of the most impeccable meals of my entire life. Food came at the PERFECT time. Service was INCREDIBLE. And man, o man, where do I BEGIN with the food. I mean, this food was absolutely mind boggling. Barbecue sandwiches 10/10. Burger 10/10. Drinks 10/10. Me and my friends were literally DROOLING. A little quote from my girl Lex," these fries are the best things I have put in my mouth and that's been a lot of things". Coming from her, that means a whole LOT. Our server was one of the nicest woman I have ever met in my entire life. She was nice, witty, welcoming, and sincere. The atmosphere and ambience was life changing. They played some good ole country toons and it was really some fun time. I mean I truly cannot give words to you how transforming this experience. ALSOOO big thing. The prices were PERFECTION. 5B Barbecue and Brews located in Greensboro, GA Food: I had the two protein plate including double brisket, fries and chili. I was disappointed they had ran out of the sliced chicken breast. The brisket was so tender and flavorful, I would order this every time! The chili was ok, probably would been better if served hot. The smoked wings were soooo delicious, you must tried these. Ask waiter for some blue cheese however ate most of the wings before he we got it, really didn't need anything added. Honorable mention, the potato salad was actually delicious. Service: You will not find a more friendly, attentive and hard working wait staff. We had a baby in our group and the waitress immediately sat us in a booth away from the live band so not to startled the baby with the loud music. Ambiance: There is room for everyone, groups are welcome, outside patio seating, full bar although I thought it was small for such a large venue. Wow! Don't know where to start. Drinks were great. The onion strings were delicious. The wagyu burgers were incredible. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the hot bacon dressing. It was more a vinegarette then we were used to. The bread pudding was melt in your mouth delicious. Or waitress Tammy was very attentive & helpful. She was a lot of fun! Driving by and decided to try 5B bar-b-q. Glad we did and will again. Small joint, clean and friendly folks. Shiryl was our server and she was excellent. Knowledgeable and attentive. They have a good selection of beverages as well. Shared the brisket skins to start. Very delicate skins loaded with brisket and flavor. Then I had the pulled pork nachos. Honestly some of the best I've ever had. Wife had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. Soft bun and generous portion of pork. Good sauces to choose from. Overall an excellent stop. Best barbecue at LakeOconee by a longshot! Owner is there all the time very hands-on so quality is consistently great. My husband is a big fan of the brisket... If you're ordering a large amount, call ahead a few days to make sure you get it. They sell out frequently. Their chicken wings are incredible smoked, flavor is fantastic. Been 3 times. Consistently warm or cool food for various offerings that should be hot. 2x for ribs , once a decent amount and 2nd hard ends. For the high price the food should be better. Pulled pork good amount but cool. Brunswick stew good and hot last time. Service was always good and friendly. Watch what menu you get, had lunch menu, but charged dinner prices. I love love love this place it's one of the hidden gems here on the lake. You know how you go to a restaurant and get the same thing every time and it's good EVERY TIME; that's here. I always get the pull pork nachos but sub the fries for the chips. The manager is so attentive no matter how packed they are you never see the staff panicking when it's packed. This is my favorite spot on the lake. The inside looks like a hotel lobby and a bar Lounge. My ONLY complaint would be the barstools they aren't comfortable to me I'm 6'6 250+ but I still love that spot. read more
