I did and asked if they had plants that could be transplanted to a garden. Friend is an avid gardener and knows everything about plants. Was told no, but they could do a basket with indoor plants. Asked for $50-60 basket. Final bill was $75.60. My friend called me to thank me for the basket but also indicated that basket was stuffed too full and plants were all wrong, shoved into other plants and low watering mixed in with high watering. She took the basket back after a few days and pointed out errors. Was advised to come back in a few days and they would give her some cut flowers in exchange. She went back today and male owner was there. Very surly and rude. Told her he did not give a shit about her basket. Said much the same to friend's husband. Told them I would have to come in to talk to them (I live a ferry ride and a few hundred kilometers away from Port Alberni). I chose this store since it was not a chain/internet business.
