On a slow Wednesday evening we sat down in the sunny and cool tasting room at Tellico Brewing, an outstanding local micro-brew establishment. Tellico Brewing is located in a recently repurposed building across the road from the Blue Opossum. We started with a lovely tasting and graduated from there to a house brew. We could order from several local eateries. Peach Street Grill, next door delivered a generous hummus plate and a delicious Cubano with an upgrade of sweet potato waffle fries. We requested mustard to dip our fries in and the kindly obliged. Tellico Brewing in a tidy, shiny, friendly little watering hole surrounded by a vintage town and fun shopping. With both indoor and outdoor dining, this new establishment is the perfect place to relax and cool down after a hike, bike-ride, or a visit to Bald River Falls.
