Hate to leave a bad review but I have to. Rodney in, of all things, the Deceased Department (that's right, the Deceased Department), is absolutely the worst human being. The very department that is supposed to be helping me understand what I need to do now that I have, along with my 3 siblings, inherited my deceased mother's property and mortgage balance was rude, condescending, purposefully not answering my questions and seemed to enjoy upsetting me. He even raised his voice to me and told me when I could speak to him "professionally" then I could call back but otherwise he was not going to answer any of my questions. I mean, I'm not sure if Rodney grasped that he was actually being paid by 717 to be the "professional" and I am actually the customer! This man needs training in Customer Service. He was inpatient when I could not understand some of the legal terms he used and asked him to spell them so I could write them down. He then said with sarcasm "if you don't know what that means you should hire yourself an attorney" like I was a child. The thing is, I DO have an attorney and I myself have a Doctorate degree! I just needed to write his answers to my questions to share with my siblings and that seemed to imply to him that I was some kind of idiot that needed an attorney on the line with us to interpret because I was so stupid...or at least that's how he was trying to make me feel. He was as rude and unhelpful as he could possibly be the whole phone call and in the end he hung up on me. Super "professional" Rodney. It's just unbelievable 717 would have someone like this working there. Like I said, this man needs serious Customer Service training. This terrible experience happened the day after another terrible call with them the day before with a different rep, but same outcome. Believe me when I tell you, save your sanity and your money and bank somewhere else. read more
