I visited the Clive location on Father's Day and was very disappointed with the experience. First, they were completely out of decaf coffee, which was frustrating since I do not drink caffeine. Second, there was a Father's Day promotion for a specialty koozie, but we were told at the window that we could not receive it because we only ordered one drink--even though we were there specifically for the promotion and intended to order more items. Finally, the service felt disorganized. The staff appeared more focused on socializing with each other than on customers, which impacted the overall experience and efficiency of service. I genuinely don't understand the hype around 7 Brew. We pulled up and there wasn't a menu anywhere to look at. Before even asking what we'd like, the employee walked up and immediately asked for our phone number, which felt odd when we hadn't even decided if we wanted anything yet. When we asked to see a menu, instead of providing one, she rattled off a few "popular drinks." We ended up having to pull out our phones and search for the menu ourselves while sitting in the drive-thru. I ordered a cold brew and it was honestly one of the worst coffees I've ever had. It tasted like plain black iced coffee with some syrup mixed in... no smooth cold brew flavor at all. To make matters worse, the price was basically the same as Starbucks. Between the confusing ordering process, the push for personal information, the lack of a visible menu, and the disappointing coffee, I don't see any reason to come back. read more

Love this drive thru! They can get pretty busy but they move people through quickly and the staff is always upbeat and makes conversation. The music while you wait gets me ready for the day. I usually get a blonde or iced latte. I love sweet drinks so they always hit the mark for me! read more

While I love that they have lots of sugar free flavors and various milk options, I end up being more disappointed than not after visits here. It's the consistency. My drinks are often too white and taste like milk. Zero coffee flavor and barely visible coffee in my drink. I LOVE coffee. I WANT to taste the coffee and not just the flavors I add to it. My daughter got me a drink from here a week ago and it was actually a nice shade of caramel brown and I could taste the coffee and cinnamon roll flavors with a bit of almond milk. Today, like too many other times, it's white with zero coffee flavor. I received flavored almond milk. It's very frustrating and why I stop going for a while. Long line but they were very efficient in getting everyone taken care of. Hit or miss on employees being friendly but they get a break in my book for working outside today when it's VERY hot and humid. No one was rude by any means - just not particularly friendly. Coffee was delicious! I went with the featured seasonal drink, a funnel cake macchiato and it was very good. Through my whole life, I have been hard-core Starbucks, but then 7 brew coffee opened in Ankeny, Iowa and I tried it, and I simply fell in love with it. When driving up to seven brew, it doesn't look like anything special. The atmosphere is nice. They have music out outside of their building. It's a drive-through coffee only when you meet staff they are friendly. They smile they ask you how your day is they ask if you have any plans they're very very inviting. They're very helpful. And I appreciate them very much! From the first day that they opened in Ankeny, they have completely won my heart to make amazing coffee! read more

I enjoy going to 7Brew because every person that works there definitely makes you feel that you are special and they all welcome you with a great big smile, positive attitude, awesome conversation and each team member always asks how you are doing and if you have anything planned for the day! I love when the music is playing also because it always puts me in a happy mood! They all know exactly how I like my coffee, and it's always perfect unless the machine breaks down, which isn't any of their faults. Great drinks and great people - super fast drive through and they have it all down to a science. Great experience.

I am very disappointed... My friend and I were very excited to get 7 brew and they completely messed up our order. My friend got the wrong drink and they also got our sizes wrong. We payed for larges and received mediums. Our drinks were technically all ice. Would not recommend. We will be sticking to Starbucks and Ziggis. read more

I love the customer service. It gets busy pretty quickly with the morning rushes but they handle it well. The workers always try to make small talk with the wait and they're very helpful when it comes to recommendations and trying new drinks. read more

The drinks were good but the customer service was awful. They gave us the wrong order and when we told the girl in the drive through, she took the drinks back and demanded we pay again. She then gave us our drinks and forgot the rest of our order. When we explained that we were missing items, she rolled her eyes and said have a nice day. After asking again, she finally gave us the rest of our order and walked away. read more

Went to 7Brew for the first time this morning. The service was great! All the staff are super sweet. We asked for recommendations and they did not disappoint. I got the cinnamon roll and my husband got the white chocolate mocha, both iced. They are both delicious!
