To be honest, Talk N Coffee is traditionally something I would've been uninterested. However. On my first visit today, I was supremely impressed. The owner and roaster was extremely friendly and was more then happy to answer my weird questions and riff on grinders (he had just gotten a new one). He demonstrated excellent knowledge and passion. I selected something I traditionally wouldn't, the Fire Cracker coffee, one flavored like a Rocket Pop, and I was supremely impressed. The flavors are clear, but don't overshadow the coffee. Beans are single dosed, which is EXTREMELY uncommon outside of metros, and each one is handled with immense care. And for regular coffee lovers, like my wife, who love their Dunkin or Starbucks, the flavors offer the full flavor without the sugar. A peanut butter cup cold brew with milk goes twice as far as a similar drink elsewhere in flavor with probably 5% the calories. Highly recommend, even for fellow snobs.

Aiyu is a refreshing, amber-colored Taiwanese jelly made by gently rubbing the seeds of the awkeotsang fig in water, releasing natural pectin that sets into a light, delicate gel. Clean, cooling, and subtly fragrant, it worked beautifully in the drink. I also ordered an oolong milk tea with boba and pudding (excellent balance and texture) and an avocado smoothie--worth noting that the avocado smoothie is only available in small and medium sizes. Still creamy, fresh, and well made. To round things out, I ordered three custard-filled waffles, all made to order. They arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--crispy outside, soft inside, and generously filled. Service was friendly and efficient, the drinks were consistently well prepared, and the food was spot on. Highly recommend.

She also ordered a bagel with cream cheese. The Blonde Hawaiian was delicious! The toffee nut with the coconut and vanilla was sweet and yummy. My mom's s'mores latte was good, but she did say it was a tad too sweet for her liking so if you're not into sweets maybe ask for less syrup. Bonus points to Rise N Grind though because I watched the barista use a mini torch to roast a marshmallow for my mom's drink. It was adorable and such a nice touch! She really liked the bagel and said that they were very generous with the cream cheese spread as well. Being that they are popular they definitely need another full coffee station. They have a partial coffee station next to the truck that serves regular coffee and cold brew. It was too hot to stand in the line and it was not moving fast enough so I opted for the partial coffee stand. They had regular cold brew and a banana flavored cold brew. I tried the banana flavored cold brew which was pretty decent. I enjoyed the flavor however I was not a fan of the almond milk they used. I also felt the cold brew could have been a little stronger. Next time hopefully I'll get to try a curated coffee from the actual truck. The staff were pretty friendly and theres a little area to sit right next to the stand. Great for shoppers to grab a pick me up.
