So, TASTE aside, here's how everything else stacks up. Besides a silly ass name, Fruiggie Too suffers from location, location, location. I live here, and have driven by this place 400 times and never knew it was here. It is tucked away in an old, K Mart style shopping center on Mantua Blvd. You really have to know it's here to find it. A positive to that fact though, is that it doesn't seem to get busy. There was NO ONE there when I went. The inside was fine, with tables and places to sit. The girl behind the counter was nice enough, and they looked like they had a TON of options. But, that shit was expensive. My wife wanted an Acai bowl. That's already $12. She wanted to add bananas and nutella, and the final damage was over $17. That's $5 for bananas and nutella. I can buy a PALLET of bananas for $5, or two full JARS of nutella for that price. And that's before they ask for the obligatory tip. The Misses seems to enjoy them, so they must taste ok, and it's certainly a place you can sit down in quiet and enjoy your overpriced fruit puree.

One of my favorites is the Peanutty Acai Bowl, as I believe The Juice Pod has some of the best acai bowls that I have tried anywhere. The service is very fast and friendly whenever I have gone. There are a few small tables inside, which can be nice to sit at when the store is less busy. There are also tables outside that I enjoy sitting at when the weather is nice or there are more people coming in and out of the store for takeout. I have already been to The Juice Pod countless times and will be back time and time again, as everything on the menu is tasty, fresh, and satisfying. I have tried numerous protein shake establishments that either just didn't have the flavor or had way too many artificial additives, and Four K understood the mission and has solved both of those problems! The owner takes pride and is very transparent in the clean plant based no artificial sweetener minimal ingredients used, while taking the time to walk you through different benefits their items offer. After an intense workout, a protein packed meal replacement shake is just what the doctor ordered and I find such joy in coming in to try a different flavor each time. I have even started adding a shot of espresso to my shakes, but their iced protein coffee is top tier as well! Not to mention their mini protein donuts are the best Saturday morning treat for added fuel. The owners are so friendly and informative, and have transformed the atmosphere into the most chic trendy lounge. I'm their #1 fan!!!

DH said it felt like a place for college students ... where prices were more than a pack of instant ramen, but the food quality was much higher too.
