I don't know if he was lying on purpose or not, but I will be going by there this morning to get it sorted out, though I doubt they will do anything, because it's not like I have a lot of recourse for this sort of thing especially because I have the receipt, being that it was early and I was in a hurry. I googled the issue and it seems that this is actually a recurring problem with 7-Eleven declining peoples card for no reason. But this shouldn't be happening. This place is something else. I have had about 2-3 good experiences here in the four years I have…read morefrequented it. The facility is not clean, gives off one of those down the beaten road gas station vibes. Might be because it is SO small, you can barely move. If there is a line making it difficult to get in let me explain why. The cashiers, all except for one, are just the most unprofessional and uninterested in their job or even just trying to help customers. They are constantly talking to someone visiting the store, on the phone, or if there's two associates they talk to each other. And if there are two on at the same time, I have never seen more than one on a cash register. The selection of anything you want in here is not good. Simple brands of beers, like half of the time not even bud select. Food and snack items are limited in choices, basic gum and candy bars and a few types of chips. Exits and entrances from the gas pumps/parking lot (not many spaces, maybe 3), don't go if the gas pumps look full because you won't have anywhere to park, you can't wait behind cars getting gas due to limited space, and can never get past another car to get out from any angle without a huge headache, especially because it is Chippewa (can be very busy) immediately you have to stop at after an intersection to make it in or go straight and have to turn right or left on a busy (Macklind or Chippewa at heavy traffic times so be careful!! Will I be back, probably, due to convenience only. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have to go to this location for whatever reason. They are not a large (or efficient) 7-11 branch. I do not recommend if you don't need to go ASAP.
