I am so happy that they have continued to survive and do well because I think they make some of the best gelato that I have ever tried in the world!! Yup, I said it. I've eaten gelato when visiting Italy, and the gelato made at Gelatissimo is just as good (in my humble opinion). Why did I think they would not make it here? At the time (about 10 years ago), I thought their prices were too expensive for the locals to afford. Yes, the quality of the products is excellent. Prices though are high. With that being said, though, I'd be a regular at Gelatissimo every time we visit Ayala Center. To me, they are worth the hefty price. Happy to see that I am not the only one who thinks so because they are still in business after all these years. They have a multitude of flavors to choose from. You can ask to sample some flavors to help you decide what you want. Currently, my favorite flavors are their Chunky New York Cheesecake and their Creme Caramel. Look forward to trying all the flavors one of these days. Anyways, make sure to drop by Gelatissimo when you are the Ayala Center in Cebu City. I doubt that you will be disappointed.

Everytime I go to the mall, I usually drop by and get a scoop of my favorite flavor. I have to say, they have been quite consistent on their gelato. It hasn't changed one bit. They also try to introduce new flavors every now and then so that the customers won't get tired of the usual ones. The good part is that if you are curious of a certain flavor, you can ask them if want to have a taste before buying a scoop or two. Definitely worth the price you pay.

The location I am…read morewriting about is the one located inside the Mactan International Airport at their Departure area inside Terminal 1. I believe it is the only DD shop inside the airport. Anyways, I am glad they have a shop at the airport. Bought me some to share with the family before boarding our flight to Boracay. My wife wanted to find out if her favorite flavors from her childhood were as good as she remembered. I was curious to try those flavors because they are not available in the United States. Unfortunately, the flavors were not nearly as delicious as she remembered. I tried them, and I was not impressed either. They did not have the Boston Creme donut which is what I like at the American DD shops. I thought that the Choco Butternut, Blueberry Cheese, and Nutty Chocolate flavors were just decent. Oh well. Donuts at this Dunkin Donuts shop were decent, but I'll try patronizing one of the other dining establishments at the airport next time I'm there.

It's a pretty popular boba shop chain here. This location is on the ground floor of the Calyx Centre condominium building. The walk-up window to order is outside (open air with a ceiling), and the seating area is inside. The entrance is on the left side. Strange layout. It was pretty empty, with lots of chairs and tables available. My family was very loud and we essentially kicked out the one patron who was sitting down before we walked in... sorry More or less, the menu is similar to their other shops. Mostly milk teas, along with slushies, iced teas, brewed teas, coffee, snacks and other options. We ordered seven drinks, which were ready promptly. My flight to Manila the next day was bright and early...I should have been sleeping at this hour. Tea does contain some caffeine, and sugar keeps me awake so this was not a good idea. But I "compromised" and ordered a smaller drink size. My Cookie Supreme Matcha came with a swirl of crème brulée, which was custardy and creamy. The crushed cookie bits on top were nice.
