I was greeted immediately, & ordered a large Hazelnut Breve. The beverage was made pretty quickly & the staff member chatted for a moment before the beverage arrived. The pricing was very decent for a 20 oz coffee. This was my first time here, I loved the idea of the chocolate covered espresso bean on top. It began to melt pretty quickly, but it was delicious. Unfortunately, for me, that was the best part of the coffee. First off, it was so hot that the initial drink was hot & bitter. I waited about 20 minutes, trying it about every 5, until it was drinkable. It had no flavor at all. It tasted like overly steamed breve, with a slight taste of hazelnut & coffee. I really wasn't very pleased. Where the pricing & staff interaction was good, it lacked in the place that it mattered most to me, the coffee. At this moment, I don't know that I will return.

The baristas/baristers are super cool, beautiful and delightful. This place is always well-attended, so you don't feel lonely. They use chocolate milk in it which makes me happy- most coffee shops use regular white milk! It has a subtle peanut butter taste with the chocolate and it is one of the favorites here. City Brew is located inside COS City Hub which is an event space and is also connected to Discovery Church. You pass a Starbucks and Dutch Bros to get to this location but the inside is much more open than a regular coffee shop, with free wifi and a lot of seating to hang out, work, and meet others. They are open seven days a week and have good hours. I encourage you to check this place out!

The fact that this shop is located in the Rockrimmon area is a huge win, as there's nothing like it nearby. A great little spot for the neighborhood where it's located. QUALITY coffee at a great price! Lovely options for seating, whether you're meeting a friend or taking a meeting. The people running the shop are friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

FOOD: We got a couple of chai lattes which were okay, if a bit on the sweet side. My wife got an interesting ham-apple-berry-brie bagle sandwich (messy but tasty); I got a breakfast burrito (more of a breakfast panini) (huge, overly-cheesy, but tasty). SERVICE: In the face of a lot of business (it was 11 am, there was a line at the counter the entire time we were there, plus all the tables in the shop were full, as were several more in the hallway), the service was very friendly and fairly efficient. Drinks were ready in a reasonable time. There was a bobble with the sandwich order (drinks are picked up at the counter by name; foodstuff you get a table number marker and is delivered to you), but they recovered very graciously. Since the food was scratch-made, it looks, it was in a reasonable time frame. ATMOSPHERE: Very crowded, pretty noisy, rather spare and worn environment -- arguably all signs of how successful they've been. Saw lots of open laptops at tables -- I suspect a lot of folk enjoy the free wi-fi and good eats and drinks. The parking lot was ... very full, except for the several Tesla chargers, only one of which was in use (we still had a good charge so we didn't make use of them). NET-NET: It was a great place for coffee and a bite on our way north out of the downtown where we didn't have to worry (as much) about parking. In a similar situation, I'd be happy to return.
