It's probably not as enormous and spectacular as some of the ones that are built along the major highways in the really busy parts of Texas, but is still very much worth your time. Coming to Buc-ee's always makes me happy. My girlfriend likes it even more than I do, so you can say that we're both massive fans and will definitely be back here many times in the future. This may be the last Buc-ee's we visit as our road trip is nearing its end. It's supposed to be…read morethe largest one but one of the other ones we visited seemed the same size for both the pumps and store. This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Before leaving Doc had us take a selfie and a nice gentleman also took a couple for us too.

Our lunch consisted of brisket sandwich, chicken tenders & fries, and the three meat sandwich. I'm pretty sure their meat is not a true cut of brisket. Its consistency is like mush, and not like muscle fibers. There was nothing lean brisket vs fatty brisket. The brisket had holes throughout, making it look even more like an ultra processed deli meat or even lab grown. I was disgusted, to say the least. They also have ZERO options for people conscious of the ingredient lists. We bought popcorn and the bag was open at the bottom. I opted the top and it was super stale. I realized it was open on the bottom and the store game me a hard time about exchanging it. It's pretty clear the sealing process failed for this bag. We won't be shopping here anymore, nor will we eat their food. But if you're visiting Texas and come across one, it's a fun stop to pass time.

A big positive is that the window squeegee s at the pumps were actually good and had water to clean with. The front doors are wheelchair accessible and they do have handicap parking spots. The inside is pretty small so while they have the usual selection of things, it's not as extensive as some other Loves gas stations. The entire place smells like subway. The bathrooms have about 3-4 stalls with one being handicap. They were averagely clean. The men's and women's had a baby changing table. I love that they had paper towels instead of those hand air dryers. Overall a perfectly reasonable and average gas station. Works if you need a stop but not worth going out of your way to come to.

This Love's gas station is mediocre and a disappointment. True they have Subway but the place smells bad. The bathrooms were unclean. They are well stocked in snacks and drinks so that's a positive. If you must stop for refueling of gasoline then just do it. Don't expect anything more. I rather stop at a nicer one when driving long distances in Texas. When driving for multiple hours it's good to take a half an hour stop to refuel your body with food just like your vehicle with gas. So, pick another place to enjoy your break. The prices of gas are pretty good for the area and neighboring stations are similar in the pricing. ~
