This may be the last Buc-ee's we visit as our road trip is nearing its end. It's supposed to be the largest one but one of the other ones we visited seemed the same size for both the pumps and store. This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Buccee's is great for gas and EV charging. It's even great for souvenirs and other things you may need on the road. Possibly an unpopular opinion, but... my last visit here was less than satisfactory. We grabbed lunch on our way to Houston. Our lunch consisted of brisket sandwich, chicken tenders & fries, and the three meat sandwich. I'm pretty sure their meat is not a true cut of brisket. Its consistency is like mush, and not like muscle fibers. There was nothing lean brisket vs fatty brisket. The brisket had holes throughout, making it look even more like an ultra processed deli meat or even lab grown. I was disgusted, to say the least. They also have ZERO options for people conscious of the ingredient lists. We bought popcorn and the bag was open at the bottom. I opted the top and it was super stale. I realized it was open on the bottom and the store game me a hard time about exchanging it. It's pretty clear the sealing process failed for this bag. We won't be shopping here anymore, nor will we eat their food. But if you're visiting Texas and come across one, it's a fun stop to pass time. read more

Another fun location. What can I say? I'm a nutter for the beaver nuggets! When my sisters come to visit, we like going to Luling for all things lavender and of course it includes a stop in beaver town! In fact, this location was the first time my sister Tiffany had ever been to one. She bought everything from fresh jerky and nuggets to souvenirs and brisket sandwiches. Needless to say she had to rearrange her luggage to make everything fit for her flight home. You know what I'm gonna say next... Great service. Great offerings. Super clean. Stopped by Buc-ee's in Luling and grabbed the chopped brisket sandwich and some banana pudding along with a few sweaters and snacks for the road. The brisket sandwich was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. The banana pudding was sweet, creamy, and a perfect treat after the meal. Everything went well except I guess I picked up the wrong coffee cup. I got the 99 cent coffee cup put coffee in it cream and vanilla Syrup got a paddle tail which was amazing. A new T- shirt and my husband got a few things. Payed for it and went to the car and ate. We left I was looking at the receipt and I was charger $3.99 for a cup of regular coffee. So apparently I got the wrong small cup. It said Costa on the cup but they were under the regular coffee. Wholly Molly! This was not the average Truck stop this is its own experience . I did not realize this was a mini mall! Anything you need is here including a robust food court, convenience store, clothes store and gifts for everyone. They even have a bakery. I spent almost an hour looking at everything. There was chewed up gum on a bag of chips my son picked out and I didnt know until I got to my car when I was handing out my kids items and it was a stuck to another item. I attempted to exchange they said they won't do it because once its leaves store they can't return. I said I just want to exchange the items they called 3 more employees to front saying they would need to do an investigation. I asked them if they would let their kids eat something that is unsanitary. I left because I dont have time for an investigation for chips and candy. Wow! This Buc-ee's just keeps getting better and better. If you are driving on i10 between Houston and San Antonio, Buc-ee's is a must stop for many locals and tourists alike. This location just recently got an upgrade and they added even more gas pumps to their already giant gas station. Buc-ee's has everything you can imagine and more. Their selection of goods is insane and almost everything is Buc-ee's brand. Please note that they have some of their popular items in multiple sections across the store, so if you see a huge line for a brisket sandwich or some other good, just keep walking cause I am sure you might find it in another spot without having to wait. If you are not a fan of big crowds or waiting, then I do not recommend stopping by Buc-ee's during a holiday like Thanksgiving. The line to enter the gas station is literally all the way to the highway and the store is madness! I always make my pit stop at the Buc-ee's on my road trips. As a Longhorn, it is hard to admit that I love this place so much. Buc-ee's always has clean and plentiful restrooms. The gas prices are reasonable, but the parking lot can be a challenge with all the cars. Parking is plentiful, but be prepared to walk. I love the Buc-ee's statue outside and last time I visited, I also saw the Beaver mascot. The store has many branded products and all that I have tried have been high quality. They have a fountain soda machine with all the soda options you can imagine. They also have a fudge, beef jerky and pastry selection. They are known for their BBQ and always have premade selections on hand. Or you can use the touchscreen to order a custom entree from the back kitchen. So many grab and go premade snacks of fruits and veggies. My all time favorite is their warm nut options that are prepared on site with candied pecans. They also have a selection of branded housewares and outdoor products and clothing with the signature beaver logo. This is such a fun store with so many options and can never get out of here without wondering how I spent so much on all the goodies. read more

My first time ever at a Buc-ee's! And what a wonderfully delightful experience it was! We were visiting Austin for work and after some research, had learned that this location, 55+ miles from our hotel, was the largest store of the franchise. We made a plan. It involved a last minute rental if a van that was big enough to seat 5 adults plus our Buc-ee's haul. Mission accomplished. Ok, I think that between our group, we bought one of everything to share and taste. Here is goes: sour cherry candy - sour and sweet and 10/10; banana pudding - 10/10; fudge: mocha and peanut/chocolate - 4 (my mom's wins this round); chocolate covered Buc-ee nuts 10/10; those famous Buc-ee's popped floof things 10/10; sandwiches - all of them 8/10; beef jerky: garlic, traditional and Korean BBQ 7/10. It's just not fun anymore. Most of the drivers I noticed who were getting gas go inside for a shopping spree and leave their car at the pump instead of finding a parking spot so others may also get gas. Previous. Traffic needs to be marshaled. It is just all over the place and traffic rules go out the window when in the parking lot. Review. My poor wife had to wait in a 5 minute line to get into the bathroom. Taken down. Shopping inside here is about as much fun as getting ophthalmic surgery with a chainsaw. By snowflakes. If there's one thing you HAVE to try, it'd be their sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. 10/10. So perfect. Best biscuit evahhh. Buttery and decadent. Only available during breakfast time. Cranberry pecan chicken salad croissant: 7.5/10 Pretty good and fresh Beast burrito: Meh, all mush, no textural contrast Beaver nuggets: it's alright. Overhyped Jerky: we tried like 4 or 5 of their most popular flavors and they honestly tasted pretty much the same. The cherry one was the most distinctive and tasted the best. But even so, they're all pretty meh. Costco and typical grocery stores have better jerky. I tried their sweet and savory trail mix and it wasn't good. I didn't want to finish it. I always stop here no matter what. This is the last Buc-ee's you will encounter if your going west past San Antonio (but hey they are building one in Goodyear Arizona if your heading out to the Phoenix Area.) It's always a welcoming sight to see if you been traveling east from West Texas. If your traveling west, enjoy the bathrooms while you can. I highly recommend using this stop to load up on all the drinks and snacks you can get because once you get past Junction (which I recommend stopping there for a bathroom break) your next major city with good restrooms is El Paso and its a long drive from here. I recommend getting the chicken tender box with fries (RIP kiosk with the hot dog and fries combo) The coffee bar in the back is wonderful as well. On my way to Arizona, since I'm a night shift worker and left Houston around 6pm (which is like 6am for us night shifters) the coffee bar was a needed thing for this trip. What I love most about it besides getting to chose if you want hot coffee or iced coffee, is that they have oat milk and almond milk for us that can't have dairy. Most gas stations your just left for those small little flavor pods and you call it a night. The coffee bar has milk and flavor syrups. I recommend parking towards the end of this location because its not as crowded and the cashier never really has people ( I normally visit this location either at 8pm or around then so keep that in mind as your visit time may vary) read more

I have always said that this place has the cleanest, and the largest, group of bathrooms. The food here is always fresh, and it is dated and timestamped for freshness. First visit here since the rebuild. Didn't think this location could get bigger but OMG Busy AF as always at a Buc-ee's but clean store, plenty of food options and hot and fresh. Clean bathrooms. I got a bacon egg and cheese biscuit (hot, fresh the perfect gooey dense buttery consistency!) It was on my buc-et list to visit a Buc-ee's, and this did not disappoint! This place has everything you could ever need: gas, cool merchandise, delicious food, baked goods, a beef jerky counter...the list goes on and on. If you haven't stopped in and have the opportunity...DO IT! We rented a car, drove over an hour to get here and it was so worth it. The beaver nuggets, fudge, and bbq sandwiches were a hit. The employees were so nice, and this place is beyond clean. Even the bathrooms, I've never seen cleaner bathrooms! I heard that this particular location is the biggest in the U.S. so please, do yourself a favor, stop by and enjoy a great experience.
