Mr. Patel, the manager, runs a great franchise here! Very friendly person and he only hires friendly people to be clerks.

Friendly service, inviting atmosphere, reasonable prices, and lots of memorabilia to enjoy. Definitely a nice stop for a warm beverage on a rainy day.

Hands down one of the coolest coffee houses in Hampton Roads!…read more I would likely have never known this place existed without my coffee passport. It's tucked away on Fort Monroe - a little off the beaten path for me, but well with the visit. Google maps had me coming from the back side of the building but once you find your way around, there is ample parking and some outdoor seating for nice days. Like any converted firehouse the only windows are from the large roll-up doors. The inside is cozy with plenty of comfy seating. They offer free Wi-Fi and activities for little ones including lots of fire trucks to play with so this would be a nice spot for families. Already planning to bring my family in for a stop on the way to Williamsburg. Plenty of coffee and non-coffee options plus seasonal specials and tons of flavor choices, including sugar free. I opted for a sugar-free dark chocolate latte which was delicious - perfect level of sweetness and just the right temperature. I also ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on naan bread. They have multiple cheese and other bread options. The egg was a little over seasoned but flavor was good. Compared to the major chains and other independent coffee shops, prices here are reasonable. Overall a great visit with welcoming and helpful staff. Looking forward to a trip back!

When you arrive, there's a big sign outside, saying Momo's but other than that it looks like an old Mexican restaurant which adds to its uniqueness. The staff are absolutely wonderful and super friendly. My food was ready immediately and delicious hot and even came with a bag of chips. I really enjoyed walking around the store and seeing all the unique trinkets gifts local art, and jewelry there's even coffee scrubs and specialty food items. I thought it was a super cute ideal to put random salt and pepper shakers on the tables which were already unique themselves. I love the vibes here. Looking forward to restaurant week. Will definitely be coming back soon.

You can purchase local art there- paintings, jewelry, hand made clothes and toys. Fresh deserts, made in house. Smaller breakfast selection with a couple of specials and a bit wider lunch menu. No mimosas, so come prepared. As you might expect at a place like this the food isn't fancy, not pricey and home-made delicious. The ladies behind the counter were extremely sweet. Lovely spot that doesn't have a line first thing in the morning. Highly recommend.

Um YES PLEASE!!!…read more This was a last minute decision to stop when we were on our way back from the farmers market and BOY am I glad we stopped in! Buckroe coffee was one of the best coffee shops I've been to in quite some time, too bad it's on the other side of the water from our house! Walking in you can tell it was once a bank, LOVE older buildings and stories like this! The atmosphere inside was amazing, there were all different types of customers enjoying conversation, working, and just enjoying time in their 3rd place. I ordered a blended mocha frappe. PERFECT on the hot day! My daughter ordered a lemon & white chocolate latte and it was one of the best she has had (and like her mother, she does love her coffee and is VERY picky) My husband went the non coffee route and ordered a Mango smoothie and found it refreshing and finished it in the car on the way home. If you are on the hampton side of the water I highly recommend you stopping at Buckroe coffee. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to head back up to the farmers market so I can stop here again on the way home :)

Decided to finally try out Buckroe Coffee after a long trail walk. What a pleasant surprise!…read moreI was welcomed upon entering and the cashier was extremely helpful with what to choose for my first visit. I substituted oat milk in my crème brûlée latte and it was a great substitution without changing the taste of the drink. Not too sweet. My breakfast sandwich was nice and flavorful. Croissant crispy and light, cheese nicely melted. I would have liked my bacon consistently crispy but it didn't take away from the quality or taste at all. Now the açaí bowl...wow! As soon as I lifted the lid, I could smell the fresh fruits. It was a great balance of fresh ingredients. This was my favorite item. Great value for the price and I can't speak enough on the freshness of the ingredients. 100% returning!!
