I gave him a few bucks feeling if he was truly hungry he'd go into the convience store and buy food there. A shout out to the KFC worker who waited for me to go into the store and back out to my car so I wouldn't be mollested again. The store staff was friendly and helpful when informed no the situation. The first time a friend invited me to eat with him at race track I thought he was mistaken and when he reiterated the request, I thought he was nuts. But wallah! I was absolutely surprised when I walking into this establishment for the first time. Just goes to show how expectations and assumptions can rob you of pleasant experiences in life. This place was well laid out, spacious and very clean. The high ceilings definitely add ambiance and a local elegance, sort of. Yes they offer a wide variety of food items, which in base line good, and for the most part satisfying. Except!!! I have a pet peeve with food establishments, and that is the amount of salt added to the food. Not good!. May I suggest you wonderful culinary staff find a way to service both markets. There are some people who simply love the salt, even though over time it can be very harmful, there are others like myself who cannot have salt. Are you going to rob me of the pleasures of supporting your great business? Do something about the salty food, and I promise I'll give you another star. How's that? They have a hot food grab and go station and a roller grill very convenient. Breakfast sandwich, hash brown and coffee deal for $4, or buy a hot dog get a 2nd one for a dollar. I purchased a slice of pepperoni Pizza was not bad. Not sure if all RaceTrac are the same but this one also had an ice cream station Swirl World. They had several flavors to choose from and lots of toppings to add on. Grab a krispy cream donut and coffee as there was also a coffee Bar area. Wawa has some competition!. I was really surprised and will be looking out for more Race Tracs in the area on my next road trip.

And a lot less than Broward or Dade counties at the time. The only strange thing was that quite a few pumps were bagged with yellow covers. Either they'd run out of gas from the holiday traffic or because of the holidays they had not gotten their regular supplies. Luckily, there were enough other pumps open and available so that we didn't have to wait in line.

It's a super clean and nice store inside. Located right along North Florida Ave it's a good place to stop at before heading to the interstate just down the road.
