I come to this 7-Eleven whenever I'm in the neighborhood. LOVE this location because they NEVER have any homeless person out in front. They have a Redbox outside which is very convenient. Inside the store, it's clean and easy to maneuver between the aisles. LOVE their hot drinks and the fact that their machine ALWAYS works unlike some other 7-Elevens that I've been to. They also always have coffee cups available unlike again some other 7-Elevens that I go to. Checking out with your purchase is easy. There's hardly ever a line. Make sure to get the 7-Eleven app so that you can earn free stuff like coffee!! Easy to get in or out of their parking lot. Several free spots in front of their store. read more

Went to this location back in late January. The cashier behind the counter was rude to me because I couldn't pay lottery tickets with anything smaller than $100. He threaten me to charge me a fee if I did that again. Suffice it to say that I will not being to that location again with only 6 parking spaces. So when he did finished the transaction, he took $4 away from my $50 of lottery tickets. I was left with $46 in change. So if the manager or corporate looks into the books and see more money than it should have, now they know who took many from its customers. As an addendum, later that week I was tested positive for COVID. Did I get it from this guy or I give it to him? We will never know for sure but if I were you and you visited this location during late January, you better get checked if you experienced coughing or congestion. read more

(Snacked 8/25/12 SA @ 5pm): They're no longer on every street corner back when I was younger, but they still have the sweet icey treat I love! My friend and I had just finished a dim sum lunch, when I had to check on something at my friend's place in nearby Echo Park while she was out of town. Suddenly, my said, "Man, I can go for a Slurpee," and of course I replied, "Where's a close 7-Eleven?" Before I knew it, we headed down Sunset Blvd., turned onto Silver Lake Blvd., and voila, the unmistakeable logo on our left-hand side caught us like the tracker beam on the Death Star when it pulled in the Milennium Falcon! Props to our Yelp app. Neither of us had been to this location before, but it didn't matter. One thing we knew was that all 7-Elevens had Slurpees; it's just a matter of which flavors they had! We bolted from the brave little toaster and made a beeline to the back of the store where the Slurpee machine was located. Before us were six flavors: Coca Cola, Dr. Pepper, Fanta Orange Xplosion, Fanta Sugar Free Limeade, Fanta Blue Raspberry, and Fanta Grape. I decided to create a four-flavor colorful concoction (excluded Coca Cola and Fanta Grape), while my friend went for a suicide (all available flavors). Armed with a large size cup and dome lid in hand ($1.69 ea.), we were like artists as we carefully mixed our palate of colorful ice. A slide of the white ball knob for each flavor produced the "sheesh" sound, and before we knew it, our drinkable masterpieces were complete! We admired them for a brief second before we had to allow the gentleman behind us his turn at the Slurpees. FYI...the store also had all the usual snack and drink items, along with travel size toiletries, and you can't forget the hot dogs as they rotated on the steel grill. Oh thank heaven... It wasn't until we got back to my toaster when we finally tried our creation. With a couple hard and fast slurps, we got the mandatory "brain freeze" (a must experience with this drink). At this point, with the amount of flavors mixed in, the taste was pointless. Sure, I liked to keep mine clean and didn't swirl it around, so I would taste each flavor independently until the melt began. But the pure pleasure was in the brain freeze, the shot of suger into your system, and the refreshed coldness of it all. Mission accomplished! Since we served ourselves, the only service to speak of was the cashier, and it was good. Nothing really more to say. Parking was sparse as there were only six or seven actual spots. Otherwise, you kind of made your own spot or tried parking on Silver Lake Blvd. (good luck with that!). The store is located on a very small cross street (Effie). Overall, 7-Eleven was a wonderful memory from my childhood, but adulthood has taken me away from this experience, except for such spur-of-the-moment instances like this was...and that was more than enough at this point in my life. Based solely on the Slurpee, I found completely value (although probably not nutritional) as noted by the prices I quoted above (total bill was around $3.50; no tip required). The atmosphere was your standard convenient store with all of the drinks along the walls, food snack and such on the various aisles, magazines at the pay counter; you get the idea; maximized space in order to make a sale. The attire was completely casual, so I was in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Come on, it's a convenient store! And, although my friend paid for the Slurpees, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! read more

At 2:00 am I walk up to this 7/11 with three of my friends after a night of dancing at Los Globos, great club btw. We buy our three waters and kombucha, and proceed to wait outside for our Uber. As we are waiting a man who appears to be homeless and a bit disgruntled walks up. The owner of this 7/11 walks out to tell us to wait inside for our safety. With strange men waiting around outside, the cashier ushered us inside and told us we could wait in the shop until our ride got there. I felt so welcomed and safe. I have been shopping at this 7/11 for over 25 years. Wednesday the 9th of February @ 8:45 pm I had a chance to buy a case of beer for the Sunday (Super Bowl) game. There was only 1 12 pack of bud light and I asked if there was maybe another in the back only to be told by the lazy checker and his colleague that there is a one 12 pack limit. Which is absolutely ridiculous, there is no such limit. The person who stated that is named Jay. Not cool to lie to customers. I Have every intention to contact the owner of this franchise. this is one of the 2 closest 7-11's neat home, for me. I don't particularly like coming to this location. the lady who works here is super rude sounding. I don't know if she means to be or if she just hates life or what. I know for a fact that she barks at customers and that she seems to almost snap at you when she tells you your total. I don't appreciate that either. I came here with my daughter not too long ago. she'd gone to the next door MILK to grab a snack while I got a few things for our outing to the park just up the street. when she saw that I was going into the 7-11 and my daughter was going to MILK, she tried to yell at my daughter to tell her that she couldn't park in their lot to go to milk. I had to tell her that she was with me and while I was shopping at her store I didn't see any reason for her to yell at my daughter. I told her that my shopping in her store would be quick and that I'd gladly leave right after. after paying for a few things, she told me "ok now out of the lot!" wow! I'm shocked the homeless folks around here even dare lean against the walls of this place. the guys who work here aren't much better. they are rude. they don't like people trying to use their apps to reap any kind of benefits. they are not friendly either. but like I mentioned, this is not the location the I prefer to go to. it's just that it happens to be nearby where I am headed. ugh! read more

It's a 7-Eleven like any other, other than when I showed up, some dude with a homemade Deadmaus helmet-thing was outside, asking people if they knew who he was. I was, apparently, the first to get it right, which pleased him quite a bit. Why was he out there? I don't know. He knew the guy working the counter inside, and that employee shrugged the whole thing off when I asked him about it. Also outside the store was about half a dozen people sprawled around drinking Red Bull and Pabst (see the photo I added to peep the whole menagerie). They looked like rejects from The Whiskey circa 1988. Very weird, overall; the mechanic across the street said weird stuff is always going on over there, but nothing dangerous or harmful. As for the product, the cherry Slurpee spigot was one of those that dispenses too fast and ends up spraying everywhere, and judging by the red mess that was around, I wasn't the only person to have that issue. read more

I rarely go to 7-11's unless to occasionally buy a lottery ticket. I had international guests who purchased Greyhound bus tickets to San Francisco. Greyhound lets you pay cash and get tickets at 7-11. When we tried to do this, an employee , a woman in her 40's or so, was unhelpful, dismissive and rude. My review of this 7 - eleven isn't going to differ too much from my other 7 - eleven reviews. It's mostly because I can't remember ever walking into a 7 - eleven and having a lasting, less than average experience. Every time I've walked into one, within that first minute if not immediately, I'm greeted and chatted up. There's never a long line here nor an issue finding a parking spot to quickly get in and get out. Also, I really like how clean it is here! No nasty dried up spilt coffee on the counter when you venture in? Love! The two guys I've encountered on my occasional stop ins are both very friendly and helpful. The one thing here I did notice that was out of the usual standard in 7 - elevens was that they have an (wait, was it an ipad?) in front of the registers loaded with [one of the thousands new apps] Belly. I think it's great that they're keeping up to date with trends. read more

My boyfriend comes here every day. The younger staff that works here is super cool, but the older staff is extremely rude. Particularly to my boyfriend who has been nothing but polite. I come to this store very often because I walk around the nearby reservoir walking path several times a week. Today I walked in wearing what I usually wear (yoga pants and a crop top, it's super hot outside and I've been exercising), and the woman working at the register told me I need to put a shirt on in order to come to the store. I was...fully clothed. Did it show skin? Yes, absolutely. I bought it for that reason. Does this mean it's okay to act like I'm some inappropriate nuisance? Absolutely not. I was not "shirtless". If my breasts had been out, then yes, I would've been shirtless. I was clothed. I am absolutely offended and can't wait to call the manager in the morning. I agree with the previous reviewer about this woman who works here. I have been coming to this 7-11 since I was in diapers, mostly because it is a 5 minute walk from my house, and over my 19 years of life I've gotten to know all the workers. They've all been very friendly with me, which made this 7-11 feel almost like home. However, that home feeling has begun to disappear. The people that they have been hiring lately is why. There is one woman that works there, Khaled, that has been so very rude since the day she started working there. She never greets me or says hello. She always rolls her eyes at me when I ask for something behind the counter, and whenever she gives me change she just throws it onto the counter instead of handing it to me. She does the same to my boyfriend as well. I myself have never been rude to her so it really throws me off every single time, and because of that I hardly go to this 7-11 anymore. read more
