Sometimes the wait doesn't match the pickup time on the app and I still end up standing there longer than expected. We are traveling down to San Diego and need to make a stop. This Starbucks is located a mile or so off the freeway. This location was very clean and well stocked with cute coffee inspired items. The bathroom had a code on it and staff was very helpful with providing it to us. The bathroom was very clean and smelled fresh. The ambiance was chic coffee house. With people working on their laptops or reading a paper. The service was wonderful with a smile. She greeted me as I walked up to order. She asked how my day was and complimented our t-shirts. I placed my order and felt very comfortable looking around. The food was delicious and filling . I ordered a sausage bacon egg breakfast wrap. It hit the spot and was large enough to share. I also ordered a venti cold brew with sweet cold foam. It was made perfectly. This location is well put together with staff who look like enjoying working with each other. It's one of the few Starbucks locations around me open at 5am, which I appreciate. Every single mobile order I've placed from this store is prepared exactly as ordered even before I arrive. Staff is friendly and the space is clean. The store is cozy with counter seating available by the windows and as well as some outdoor seating. Very clean store--that's rare around here. Good music volume. They used labels to indicate items that were temporarily out (appreciated). Server was friendly. Totally forgot about the pastry portion of the order despite seeing me standing there with coffee, still waiting at pickup counter. So I very politely reminded him I was still waiting and he went and grabbed it in 5 seconds. But dude, just a tiny "sorry about that" or even "thank you for waiting" goes a lonnnnng way. I'm telling you, I'm pretty sure many Gen-Z cannot handle saying sorry without being overwhelmed by shame--so they just pretend nothing happened. Very sad. My mobile order was completely incorrect during my visit February. What I received was an Americano. I did not order an Americano whatsoever. I order a fair share of coffee throughout my life and drink practically every style of coffee, and to have received the wrong order with the right sticker is just completely shameful. Parking was competitive too. Laundry Karen decided to be the only store in all of Silverlake area to have claimed parking right next to Starbucks. It is best to park near the CVS side of the lot. Compared to most other Starbucks, this seemed to be the most lame in design. Literally every chalkboard in any other Starbucks is decorated and designed by their own employees. I know this is the Glendale and Fletcher Starbucks, I don't need to be reminded 2 times in the store whatsoever. The "Supervisor" looked to be the most stressed out individual on the planet. I think her name was Angie, but this is worth mentioning since this supervisor looked like she was sweating with only 2 customers that are currently in the store. The "barista" that prepared my wrongful americano was Jewel I believe. All I can say is that whoever is the manager here needs to consider trying other locations and to see if your store is actually hitting the mark whatsoever. You need baristas that are not going to cheat customers on drinks and money and a real supervisor that will not be stressed out whatsoever. Bay Area Starbucks are 10x better than this. I have an addiction. I might need to start going to support groups for being addicted to Starbucks. I really do like Starbucks but this place does have busy foot traffic sometimes and you might not be able to find a seat here. But they do make exactly what you want and no my drink isn't that complicated but I still love drinking it. My favorite ones are green ice tea with four scoops of matcha and black ice tea. Everytime he is you're bound to find 15 pissed off people standing around the drink pickup while he slowly makes drinks with absolutely 0 urgency. Lately, they have messed up most of my orders. I am a regular here and I have to say the value and taste has significantly declined over the pandemic. The ratios are off. The drinks are off in measurements every time. Either there is too much sweat or little to no coffee taste. There nitro cold brew machine isn't working half the time and again the ratios on the drinks are off. They started closing down early and unexpectedly and leaving a paper note on the door saying we are closed. Avoid this location at all cost. I come to this location pretty often. I always see new workers. They are usually very very friendly. Never have I had an experience where my order was not made correctly or to my satisfaction. I love coming here on my double star days. I always look forward to their newest tumblers and things. It's nice to have this location to stop in for quick gifts as well. The restrooms are well maintained and the morning rush begins around 5:30 or 6:00am. I'm addicted to their muffins and marble loaf. What else can I say!?!? Why don't you stop in.
