    Everything's beautiful and nothing hurt.

These people are a delight and every time I stop to get gas and run into an issue with the pump Tiff or Quinten run out to help me and yes sometimes they have issues with their technology but who wouldn't if you ran a 24/7 store. The manager seems like a no B.S woman and when I ran into the gas stations for gas and cigarettes they were out of mine. She promised she would order Them and enough that I wouldn't have that same issue and I have yet to run into them being out of my smokes again . Also if they don't haven exactly what you need just ask one of them and they will go outta their way for you or as far as they possibly can to help you out. Like I said I've not run into that issue ever again because of the Manager. They are an amazing team, especially when you get to see them in motion. One of them already has a carton out and they're ready for me. Dylan the assistant manager, I witnessed that young man run that store like a ship and he was the captain the day after the hurricane. That team and store were swamped and not once did they have a bad attitude or even seem frustrated also they were moving booty to help everyone out. They really do have a great group of people and I honestly drive past 2 filling stations just to go see the people Who would 1.) To get what I need and it's a clean store even the restroom is most of the time and 2.) Just to get a good laugh because you'll no doubt get a reason to laugh from Tiffany and Quinton and the rest of them mostly because you can tell they are happy and cuttin up all of the time. Also I want to credit them all of them with impeccable customer service and I will continue shopping there and couldn't imagine any other filling stations having the great attitudes these employees do. Even sometimes just a smile from someone can change your whole day. Mostly they are smiling just because they're happy to help us and joke with us and Thats exactly how I feel about this filling station.

Much has changed over the decades since the Mira Mar Hotel was constructed here, back in the 1920s. During the hotel's glory days, it was a fav vacay destination for an American president. But mid-century saw Palm Avenue's decline. Even then, howev, the Mira Mar was the living, breathing (or maybe, at that time, just wheezing) embodiment of shabby chic, long b4 the term existed. When I was a teen, in the 1970s, I was enchanted by the hotel's by-then-hushed terraces -- dappled as they were in sunshine and shadow -- and the open architecture of what, at that time, were low-rent apartments. During those years, welfare recipients lived at the Mira Mar Hotel. Today, all that remains of it is a portion of the old hotel's Palm Avenue-facing facade. Meanwhile, a condo tower, under development for more than a decade already, promises residences priced at around $2 million. But even if u aren't a millionaire, Palm Avenue Express is likely to have what u require, including, for a few examples, chilled beer and wine, postcards, Advil, and Lord only knows what u may find on the shelves there. For an example, my darling daughter has a mane of unruly hair, and I found a box of big hair pins for her at the Palm Avenue Express. And when I stopped in there today, I found a bar of lemon-scented bath soap. This store is owned by the same fellers who own the adjacent Salon Forty-One. And on the sidewalk outside, small tables -- shaded by elaborate landscaping and bright-red umbrellas, which also protect against summer-afternoon rainstorms -- invite patrons to sit a spell.

I decided to poke my head inside and see about getting something for lunch. In the back as you walk in the door there is a place with an overhead menu board and a couple of people manning the place. I headed back and looked over what they offered. While someone was patiently waiting for me to order, I quickly scanned the menu. What caught my eye was a large picture of a 1lb Beef Burrito. I'm not much for Mexican food but the 1lb interested me, I was hungry. That's what I ordered. It turned out one was already made and sat in a warmer to my left, along with some burgers. While I didn't get a chance to watch them prepare something, it was certainly convenient in this convenience store to just grab it. I noticed it had a date and time stamp when it was made, just over an hour earlier. Ok with me. I paid for my burrito at the regular register. Rogers had a few small tables and a counter where you can look out at the gas pumps, I sat at a table. My burrito was piping hot where I had to be careful with those first few bites. It was also good, I think I like Mexican food more than I let on. It was also hefty, plenty to satisfy my hunger. It is a good stop, whether you want something quick or if you want to sit and enjoy your food.
