We frequented many Wawa locations throughout our stay, but this one was special to us. Friendly and quick service, always a bustling of people coming to/from the Shore, clean and stocked, and offering pretty solid foodie products. They offer kiosks to order from which are pretty user-friendly, and we enjoyed our routine of grabbing the iced coffees ourselves. I feel like Wawa is a must if traveling on the East Coast. The food felt fresh for extremely fast-casual, and is literally so convenient to hop in/out on the way or home from a busy beach day. Portions are packed, and items are pretty easy on the wallet. The other day, I saw diesel at another location and decided to stop at this one when I found it. Contrary to what I've found at other stations, the green handle was not the diesel, but gasoline. The diesel pump was orange, which stands out since Hess is green-themed. The attendant came to the car, and I handed him the card and he swiped, started the pump, and returned my card to me. He apparently had every pump under his control, but it wasn't too long of a wait. Besides that, he was friendly. Inside, the rest room wasn't bad, and they had 2 for specials on some items.

I honestly wasn't a huge fan of this station in previous years - it was tiny, dirty, had a really small store, and an older lady who must have smoked 5 packs a day was one of the rudest people I'd had to deal with at a gas station. Remembering that they recently went through a HUGE renovation, I limped over with what must have been a cup of diesel in my tank. Wow. The renovations done here were great! Brightly lit at night, clean, tons of pumps, a decent (and clean) store, and most importantly friendly staff. It doesn't hurt that the fuel prices were relatively low either. I feel weird reviewing a gas station, but frankly this is one of the better ones in the area. In fact, with how much I loathe the Hess on Rt 70, I'll probably just go here in the mornings if I need gas - despite it being out of the way by a mile or so.

This place also has a convenience store inside, which is nice because you can fill up on snacks before you head out on the road or you can pick up a newspaper and a coffee on Sunday morning. They have a decent selection of snacks and drinks as well as coffee and pastries. The people who work at this place are very nice and most are local to the area, so it really has a neighborhood feel to it. They do have a vacuum and a tire pump on the corner, so if you need a quick touch up, you have those available to you. They also have an ice machine, a propane tank holder and a bathroom. Over never used any of those, but they're convenient if you need them. In all, this is a nice gas station with friendly workers and a convenience store, but you will be detracted from coming here because of he outrageous prices of gas. I recommend going here for the snacks and a coffee and waiting to fill up until you get to a cheaper place a mile or so up the road.
