We frequented many Wawa locations throughout our stay, but this one was special to us. Friendly and quick service, always a bustling of people coming to/from the Shore, clean and stocked, and offering pretty solid foodie products. They offer kiosks to order from which are pretty user-friendly, and we enjoyed our routine of grabbing the iced coffees ourselves. I feel like Wawa is a must if traveling on the East Coast. The food felt fresh for extremely fast-casual, and is literally so convenient to hop in/out on the way or home from a busy beach day. Portions are packed, and items are pretty easy on the wallet. We went to Crab's Claw Inn for lunch, and arrived around opening hours near 11:00am. This is def a hot spot, so would recommend getting there upon opening or just the understanding that you may need to wait a bit for a table...especially in the evening hours. They have a great bar inside (highly recommend the Bloody Mary's) and also an exterior bar for those waiting/hanging. I love the idea of the outside bar. The night we grabbed a drink from the outside bar, they had live music and we sat front row on one of the benches. I think they also have live music on certain nights inside as well ~ such a great vibe, service/staff, and local hang. I loved the crab chowder and still think about it to this day..I even ordered two cups in one sitting which never happens! The Crab's Claw Fish Sando and Coconut Shrimp Tacos were standouts, not so much fans of the Pierogis to start. All in all, next time we're in the area we will def be back to enjoy summer tunes on a hot night.

Was not tasty And filled with iced! No pistachio rim! Took a few sips and it just wasn't worth the calories. Left disappointed! Had to google are martini's ever served with ice ? Google response: No, traditional martinis are served "up" in a stem glass without ice. The drink is chilled and diluted by being stirred or shaken with ice, but the ice is strained out before pouring! Maybe have an outdoor no frills cocktail menu for the outdoor seating areas! Stating served in plastic cups, Filled with ice and no garnishes! And reduce the price for the no fills cocktails. :(

Charging more, serving less…read more While staying in the area for a week each year, we used to look forward to Kohr's custard every day. (Sometimes twice a day) Sadly, halfway through our recent week, nobody wanted it anymore. Their product tastes the same, but portions have gotten small. Prices went up, and I don't mind that, but don't skimp on what you serve. It's just disappointing. There's even one server at this location that is really stingy. You barely get a swirl and a half on top of your cone. Ironically, I got a picture of him chowing down on a cone in the back! Last year, the regular size was satisfying and the large was a monster that you had fun finishing with your kids. This year, the regular cone is significantly smaller than prior years and large was similar to the regular. We switched to Summer Sweets in Lavallette for our daily fix and were much happier. Great flavors of ice cream, nice portions and it's actually cheaper than Kohr's.

I wanted really creamy ice cream…read more Instead, I got hard ice cream full of ice chips and watery soft ice cream full of tiny pieces of unmixed. I had ordered the dulce de leche on the bottom and soft chocolate and vanilla twist on top in a cone. But when she went to put the soft ice cream on top it came out in a circle around the edge instead of a normal ice cream swirl. And she put it on a cup, which was fine, but she went to add a swirl on top but the soft ice cream was unfinished. I told the girls that something was wrong with the ice cream and said it was having problems. I don't know why you would serve this.
