More expensive than the other 7/11's on everything. And rude people. I'll drive out of my way before stopping here

First off. What kind of 7/11 doesn't except food stamps. It doesn't stop there. The guy who is usually there has the most nastiest attitude (he wears glasses and has spike grey hair). Plus I bought a yogurt from there that was a weak old. Didn't realise it until I got to work. Disgusting customer service and the place is just hazardous. There's another 7/11 5min away from this one but it's worth the drive. All these reviews and this 7/11 is still ope for business. read more

7-Eleven on Leary FTMFW!! They had Slurpees ready to go at 10am when I needed one. Don't judge me. It never hits 100 here in Seattle... The gentleman running the show here (was very, very nice) and had the AC cranked like nobody's business... I can only imagine that if I were to go check out the meter in the back of the shop, it'd be spinning like a top! I'll be back. Probably in an hour or so. Mama needs another. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a 711. I went in last night with a friend to buy a few drinks that were 2/$2.22, a couple energy drinks and a few bananas. Now to be fair I will start with positives. The guy working (who will be my primary complaint later) did initially answer pur doughnut question politely. The fruit was fresh and the drinks were cold and well priced. Upon bringing our 2 separate handfuls up to the counter I failed to realize my stuff was apparently too far away from my friends and the cashier figured it was two separate orders. I guess this could be seen as my fault. After we were rang up I went to grab my things and walk put thinking we were paid, and the cashier abruptly stopped us. Fine, I understand. I'd stop someone unpaid as well. He rang my items up seperatly, causing pur total to be a bit over what we should've paid as the drinks were on special and he charged full price (as he rang us seperatly) I politely let him know we were supposed to be together for the soda special. This is when he immediately got all over me accusing me of trying to rip him off. I asked If there was a way to refund the sodas and re ring us so its a proper price. He then trespassed me for his shift and said to "talk to the owner if I have a problem". From there he proceeded to threaten to call the police telling me everything is on camera, which works perfectly for me as this guy does not deserve a job in my eyes. Guys if this guy always works overnights on Sunday night, AVOID IT!!! I read wonderful reviews about the owner so I will not totally boycott the store just yet. read more

Oh.. it's just a 7 - 11 you may say! Ha! it's a 7 - 11! It's filled with quick stop grab and bag.. everything you need for a fast pass thru on way to the next picnic. You didn't have time to get to Trader Joes? Get ice, juice and a bag of chips, ohh chocolate, ohhh salsa. You are set! The staff is very nice. I also give 5's to places like this because I have observed their constant friendliness as well as capability to solve problems with a constant stream of people runningin and out on their way to important picnics. read more

I live around the corner. I love it for the convenience and the cheap gas prices, even though the pumps are absurdly slow. The people that run it are friendly and remember me and the place is clean. Only 3 stars though, since M & S Deli down the street carries the same beer and wine for several dollars cheaper. read more

I walk by here regularly and used to buy snacks several times a week, but now I only shop here if I have no other choice. Because I have to: 1) ONLY BUY PREPACKAGED ITEMS. This place is a health hazard. I have seen one of the owners handling the donuts in the case without gloves. 2) Always CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE and keep receipt. One time I bought frozen pizza here and it had completely thawed and then refrozen in a misshapen discolored blob. I returned to exchange that pizza and opened the 2nd box in front of the owner. Same condition. Owner seemed unsurprised. Another time, I bought a package of bread not realizing it had expired 2 weeks prior and was greeted by a colony of mold when I opened it. Shop here at your own extra high risk. Lastly, 3) AVOID RIAZ. He is literally as much as a customer deterrent as the health hazards. Riaz makes it clear that it pains him to interact with anyone and scrapes by with the the least amount of effort. He pulls items back to his side of the counter, rings them up and then leaves them there for you to bend over to stretch and retrieve them. Never offers a bag. Never has said anything other than to make up some BS rule about minimum purchase using a credit card. He must be a relative of the owners, because I can't understand why they employ him. read more

Came in last week to get some snacks and something to drink after a show at Nectar. A friend who was with me was looking around for a restroom when an employee said there wasn't one. My friend then stated that it was an emergency, and the employee replied "Yeah, I don't care." I then decided not to buy anything and leave. On the way out I told the employee "There is no need to be rude, Sir. She just needs to use the restroom". The employee did not verbally respond, but he stood and glared at me with an odd and uncomfortable intensity as we left, and it continued until we got out of viewing distance. I'm really very glad my husband was with us. How this man was glaring at me was very inappropriate. It made me feel unsafe. I will not be returning to this location due to rude, creepy, stalker-eyed guy. read more

VERY RUDE. I stopped in to this location to get some chocolate. I was specifically looking for chocolate without any milk in it for my girlfriend. I've been to this location many times and the clerk has always been friendly and so I go there for convenience. However, after checking the chocolate bars/cookies, I decided to go elsewhere. When I was walking to the door, the clerk starting yelling and swearing at me to leave his store, saying that if I was going to waste my time looking for specific things, I might as well get the hell out of his store and go to PCC. To be yelled at and told to leave just for taking time to consider my options, I was taken aback by his unprovoked rudeness. I hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else. I will never rate anything which dispenses Slurpees lower than three stars. But seriously, 7-11, you haven't had premium gas for at least 2 1/2 weeks. You are cramping my style. My Jetta (fancy version) requires weekly injections of at least 92 octane gasoline or she gets super PMS. I feel baited and switched when you advertise premium gas at 3.03 a gallon and then DUCT TAPE down your premium pumps. This is a nice oasis in the middle of Fremont though. Between this and Fred Meyer I think us lower income, non hipster people are going to survive in this neighborhood godwilling. read more

The rudest people work here. Don't listen to the reviews calling the people who run it nice-- they treat everyone as trash. They don't even thank you. If I could give this place no stars I would but obviously it wouldn't let me. This place is disgusting. We came and got some soft drinks and slurpees while we waited for our pizza from down the street. A cup fell off the rack and so we threw it away. The guy who seems to be the owner comes around the corner really fast and yells at us and tells us that we needed to get the cup out of the trash because they cost money. I didn't think a cup would be such a big deal especially if it fell and the floors are super dirty. He pulled the cup out which wasn't even the one we tossed. He put it back up. I'm so disgusted with his actions. And definitely won't be back! read more

This place always has what I need no matter what time of the day or night... Batteries, the ATM machine, beer, vitamin water, ramen noodles, butterfinger ice cream bars, slurpees, frozen pizzas, maxim magazine, potato chips, or whatever else I may need... John, one of the guys that runs the place, regularly recognizes me every time I go in there now. He's a very nice and friendly person. Is this is a good thing? Let me start by saying; most of the time this 7-11 is just fine. HOWEVER; some weekend nights, there is an employee called Kevin who works there and he is extremely rude. I have heard him shout at people and demean them on several occasions, including one time when I was there to get snacks (it was 11pm or thereabouts) I had been in the store for ~5 minutes trying to decide on a snack, and he said rather loudly; "Are you gonna buy something, or just camp out all night?" I can't recall ever having had a worse customer experience, I don't know what Kevin's deal is, but he should really stop taking it out on customers, it makes the whole store seem like they don't care about customer service in the slightest. read more

I bought some potato chips and that was expensive cop are to the afore pricing he asked if we wants a bag we said yes and we didn't know it was paper and it would be five cents. It's so wonderful that the 7-11 in Fremont has a Redbox DVD station! I mostly am here to get DVDs. I've also been inside to get beverages and they are well stocked. When I'm in a jam, this is a good location to get some gas for the car. read more

The lights are a blinding and welcome sight when one is wandering home from Fremont at 2 am. Especially on the nights were both hands are full of vendor hot dogs and a liquid is needed. BasicalIy, I wander here, I purposely stop here (usually for a rockstar), and I occasionally stop by randomly. That should be a good sign to all. It is family owned, clean, stocked, and a great place to fill up your bike tire. It's gas isn't that expensive even though it is in the heart of Fremont. This is great for when my gaslight is on and I can coast down from my- turn of the century- water exploding thru the roof- "vintage" house up on the hill. And if you were wondering- there is a great ice cream selection and most local beers on hand. In Edmonds we scoffed at the 7-11 as trashy and to this Fremont 7-Eleven I say~ Bring it on- I lovest you! read more

This is a great spot to stop for many things including gas. The family that run this business also run the 7-11 store in lower Queen Anne off 5th N. It truly is a family affair and they are always nice and keep the store clean. Nice big parking lot for easy access and exit. read more

I came in for Marlboro's, my steady smoke. Upon entering, I am overwhelmed by the plethora of goodies surrounding me! Nachos with cheese, packaged butter rolls, meat sticks and even extenze at the counter! Like a child in a candy store, and of course it WAS a candy store, I drifted from aisle to aisle collecting treasures. And tp top it off, when I arrived at the check out register, the helpful clerk reminded me to push the enter button on the pin pad machine and enter my pin number! Needless to say, I will be back often, and I will spread the word to my love ones about the unique wonderland that I have discovered! read more

What can I say about the Fremont 7-11 - John (the owner) is the man and will crack a joke or two to lighten up your evening. Personally I am a big fan of the 2 for $3 SmartWater. Gotta stay hydrated! read more

As far as 7-11s go, its not my favorite. To be honest, I crave gas station food from time to time when I'm getting gas, and this place never stays stocked with hot food, at least not as much as the other 7-11s around. For the most part though, it's just your average 7-11, which is why I'm giving it an average score. read more

I was using the ATM this morning on my way to work and was verbally assaulted on my way out the door by a random customer. The language the man used was violent and of a perverse sexual nature. The man tried to grab my arm while making physical threats against me. This aggressor was someone I've never seen before, nor am I accustomed to receiving such violent threats and an attempt to grab me, so I went back inside to Ron for safety. I was shook up. I re-entered the 7-11 and asked Ron (owner) to call 9-11 and he refused. I asked no less than 3 times, even after the aggressor re-entered the 7-11. I pointed out that I have been a customer of his for no less than 7 years and work 2 blocks away in the neighborhood for the same amount of years. Coldly refused to lift a finger. He told me that i should call them, NOT HIM. Meanwhile, the aggressor re-entered the 7-11 casually walking around like he had done nothing. Ron nodded to him and stared at me like "why are you still at my counter and upset." I have never in my life believed that any business owner in this neighborhood would outright refuse to act for someone they see regularly for 7 years. I am floored and shocked and appalled that Ron would refuse someone from the neighborhood help. I didn't ask him to defend me, his feathers would not have been ruffled in the slightest had he picked up that phone. Instead he chose to give the man a bro "nod" and ask me to move aside for next customer. Clearly this was MY FAULT and I was creating a problem for him BY HAVING AN UNINVITED PROBLEM in front of his store. I would like to point out that he did not seem impatient with the man/aggressor when he had re-entered the store who had created the problem in the first place. That guy got a nod. I got the "why are you still here" stare and a refusal to call for help. I hope no assault attempts ever happen to any other customers outside of Rons' business. He will treat you as though you are bringing a problem into his store. He does not see the same community as the rest of the businesses in Fremont. N 36th 7-11 is the anti fremont. read more

These "people" like to take adavantage of their customers. Just because it is 2 A.M. in the morning and I may have been intoxicated... They feel they can charge 3 something for Nachos when all other 7-elevens charge 2 dollars. Apparently theres an after-hour surcharge where instead of scanning the product they have random barcodes. On top on that, I'm not sure it is proper to have there 10 year old child sitting and playing in the store at that hour. The store itself is your typical 7-Eleven... This is my first Yelp review. My experience was that bad that I had to post. I stopped here on my way home from work as I always do when I need gas (Nov 20 around 3.40 pm). Generally the customer service is fine if I ever have to venture inside so I can't complain about the other employees. However, today the pumps were full so I was waiting alongside some of the cars. A van passed me so it seemed like there was plenty of room for cars to get by and no one had honked or asked me to move. That was until the person on duty (tall, slim, U-shaped hairline) stormed out of the door, wagging his finger at me and looking generally pissed off. I rolled down my window to see what the issue was. He told me in an EXTREMELY RUDE manner that I was blocking this guy, and blocking that guy and to get out of the way, exit, and reenter. This is all while the spot I was waiting on was about to be open. I told him there was no need for him to be rude about it and he retorted with "And you don't have to be a pig" in the most snide voice I've heard since gradeschool. Needless to say, I decided that I would be exiting but not reentering and they were never getting my business again. I pulled out while watching the car that was waiting behind me (patiently, never honking) take the now empty spot. This was the most ridiculous interaction I have ever experienced with an employee that was speaking to me as a paying patron. I don't call for people's jobs ever but this guy deserves to be let go. He made the entire establishment look bad and lost a loyal customer. Update - just watched the Chaos 7-Eleven video that someone mentioned and turns out it is the same tall, slim, U-shaped hairline guy I mentioned. The user who mentioned the video said it was Kevin who I have also seen listed on the negative reviews many times. So they really should take note of how many people have had horrible experiences based on his inappropriate actions and do something about it. read more

In general, it's fine...it's a 7-eleven, nothing special. Convenient and close to work. We all got our free Slurpees on 7-11 (July 11th) and downloaded the app to get the other freebies throughout the week. That was a fail. They have no idea what I'm talking about when I show them the app and said I couldn't get the freebie today. This is fine, no big loss here, but if you advertise it, you should follow through and be able to explain to customers. read more
