Store managers have told me closing the Evergreen and 7 Mile store means that a 1000 prescriptions are coming to this store. But that has been happening for now a long while and corporate is not doing anything to correct the problems. No added staff or hours. In fact this store has less staff and hours than Monroe MI locations have. All the Walgreens near me do, but Monroe has much less minority population. Do they think it OK to give us less service because we are in an area with high minority population !!!!????;!! WTF!!!! What will it take, someone dying while waiting for days to have a prescription to be filled. I can just switch to a different company, but seniors might not be able to do that. Bob and his son, Andrew, own and run this store and on a recent Monday a woman in her 90s entered the store confused and in a bit of angst unaware of where she was and how to get her disabled vehicle operating again. Bob was there that night. Instead of dismissing her he treated her with kindness and helped her get in touch with both the necessary public services and her daughter. My fiancé has stopped in twice to shake Bob's hand and thank him but has missed him both times. So, this is the other way I know to show thanks for outstanding service even if not related to your intended service. Thanks, Bob, from an entire family.
