Fun cafe. Drinks were great. My husband loved the milk cake. The honeycomb bread was delicious. Was packed place and so ordering took a minute but came out fast. Nice they have buzzers. Lots of seating. But was SUPER loud. It was a full day for sure but acoustics make it amplified. Servers were friendly. I would go back but not if looking for quieter hang out cafe.

Yes, this place is beyond good! Why a five star? I crave their Haraz Latte, the balance between spices and coffee - chefs kiss! This establishment is beyond beautiful and cozy, I love how the tables are set up for customers to gather with friends or study. The servers were beyond nice and helpful, when I asked questions. I ended up getting the Haraz Latte, Nutella Cookie, and the Dubai Pistachio Milk Cake. I was not crazy for the Nutella cookie but the Dubai Pistachio Cake was great and not too sweet. You justify that the cake was fresh. Overall, I loved this place and I would love to pay a visit ASAP with my friends and sisters.

This business is beautiful inside. Service was efficient we walked right up and ordered. We ordered three iced pistachio lattes - two of which had oatmilk instead of cows milk and the total was like $27/$28 which I think is expensive for coffees. Although this was an experience of a special treat. The coffee was good but I don't think I would crave it or have the urge to get again.

Keep coming back here when I am on the area. Just an nice cafe to hangout. Handcrafted tea and coffee. Fast free wifi. And they open late so you can get a hot drink in the snowy winter, if Warren even snow anymore

Great big space and delish pastries and cakes! I know they have Yummy cheesecakes but today I got the raspberry croissant and iced pistachio latte with oatmilk. My friend ordered an iced blush blackberry refresher. Always delish! Easy lot parking Didn't see the bathrooms

5 Stars - A Coffee Experience That Hits Every Mark Haraz Coffee House isn't just another coffee shop--it's an experience. The moment you walk in, the ambiance grabs you. From the intricate wall art to the modern yet cozy decor, it's clear this place was designed with love and culture in mind. I ordered their signature Yemeni coffee, and let me tell you--it was bold, smooth, and unforgettable. The flavors were deep and rich, perfectly balanced. Easily one of the best cups I've ever had. The pastries and baked goods were fresh and looked as good as they tasted. Clean, organized layout with a beautiful display of traditional and modern treats. And yes--even the restroom was well-designed and spotless, which says a lot about how much care they put into the entire experience. Whether you're looking to study, catch up with a friend, or just escape for a solo moment of peace, Haraz delivers. This place isn't just worth a visit--it's worth becoming a regular.

The friendliest barista making the best pistachio latte ... nice ambiance, clean restrooms ... our new (to us) favorite coffee spot!

Cute place with a variety of drinks and baked goods but I thought everything was way too pricy. Staff was very friendly and our things were brought to us very quickly. Our lattes were good and the chocolate croissant was fresh and tasty but I was disappointed in the size of it for the price. They had a lot of different roasts of coffee beans for sale also.

My husband and I stopped in for a mufawaar and biscoff chocolate chunk cookie. This is the best coffee I've had since moving to Michigan. The cookie was big enough to share as a snack and was perfectly warmed. The staff was friendly and the inside had very comfortable seating. This will be my go to.

I stopped in and ordered a saffron latte. It's beautiful and delicious! As usual, I experienced great customer service!

I stopped in for a safffon latte! It's warm and delicious! Haraz has great customer service & a nicely decorated coffee house! There's a spacious seating area and ample parking. They're also pastries and a variety of desserts, including cheesecake. It all looks good! For this visit, I stuck with a wonderful latte.

This place is beautiful; I wanted to try something different than regular every day American coffee so I decided to stop in. The decor and atmosphere invite you to sit and relax for sure. I got the iced harazi coffee that had some cream and cardamom in it. It was refreshing. Cardamom is pretty popular in all Indian cooking so it was a familiar yet surprising aroma that hit me. The pastries all looked amazing but I got the honeycomb and the tiramisu. I tried to share it with my daughter but she's all about candy currently. So, more for me, how can I complain? They were both delicious. The tiramisu was soft and moist and I absolutely loved it. The menu has a ton to offer so I'll be coming back soon! The service was excellent, my Bangladeshi brother started talking to me in Hindi and thankfully I understood him. They tell you to have a seat and they'll bring your drink/food to you. Wonderful in every way!

During my recent trip to Michigan, I discovered that the Detroit Metro area has the largest…read moreconcentration of Arabic speakers with 4.7% of population aged 5 to adult primarily speaking Arabic at home (https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2023/05/18/5-facts-about-arabic-speakers-in-the-us/#:~:text=The%20Detroit%20metro%20area%20also,1.0%25%20of%20the%20total%20population.). As such, there was a plethora of excellent restaurants to select from offering Middle Eastern cuisine, one of the best of which was Asya. As is my penchant, when visiting a new city I pop open my trusty Yelp app for places to try and Asya was one of the first recommendations; it doesn't hurt that some of the locals also said they serve up tasty food. Located in a strip mall off the intersection of a busy road, the parking lot is tight, so if there are no spots directly in front of the restaurants, there is more availability off to the side. I stopped by a few times while I was in town, and Asya does a brisk take-out business, especially during the predictable lunch and dinner hours. I dined in both times, so I could enjoy my meal hot and "fresh from the kitchen." The interior is fairly nondescript with tile flooring, black tables/chair combos, and a neutral color palate. But because the dining room is "cozy," it can definitely get loud with just a few tables of hungry diners. The service and hospitality are superior, as to be expected from a family run establishment. I was always greeted with a warm smile and even after just a few visits, the staff seemed to recognize me. I really like the fact that for most of their entrees, you can order either a lunch or dinner portion. The shish kafta was an AMAZING deal at $12.99 at lunch. In addition to the main dish, it is served with either a salad or soup. I opted for the lentil soup, and it was tasty. Soft lentils were stewed in a creamy base and served with a bowl of individually wrapped pita slices. Honestly, I was already getting a bit full after just the soup course. Then the generous portion of the shish kafta arrived and I could only finish 1/2 of the plate, before taking the remaining portion home for dinner. The skewered meat patties were nicely seasoned with grated yellow onion, garlic, parsley, finely chopped mint, salt/black pepper, Sumac, cinnamon, as well as other spices. They were grilled just enough to have a nice char on the exterior, yet still remain moist. Instead of French Fries, I opted to have the yellow rice which was perfect for making mini-sandwiches with the leftover pita slices from my soup. To finish the meal, I had a few pieces of the house made baklava, which was flaky and not too sweet; perfect with my afternoon coffee. On another occasion, I also got the chicken shawarma, which again, was a bargain at $6.50 (before tax) and super filling with a side of fries. There are also many good Middle Eastern restaurants in the DC area, but not the variety of "mom and pop" places like Asya and definitely not at their price point and value.

Good food fresh. Great customer service, stopped in for lunch . Will visit again soon!!!read more
