Maybe one of my favorite coffee spots. It is always packed whenever I go. Prices are fair. Service is friendly. Ambiance is peaceful and clean. Drinks can be customized in terms of sweetness and milk. A specialty latte is 6$. I got the honey comb latte with soy milk, half sweet and less ice. Drinks is aesthetic and good. Tbh half sweet is still a bit sweet. But I didn't complain. Will be back if around the area

Came here for a quick coffee with a friend and it was SO CUTE!! We were here in the afternoon but the place was so busy with people grabbing coffee and tea and studying. I got a decaf latte with oat milk and maple, and my friend got the Honey Bee (I think that's what it was called). The coffee was SO GOOD and the perfect treat to warm us up on a chilly day.

I dream of Apothecary! A friend introduced me to Apothecary while I was in town, and honestly--absolutely wonderful. I go feral over their Honeycomb Latte (pretty sure it's seasonal), and every time I think about it, I want another one. Their matcha is delicious too, which is always a good sign for a coffee shop. The space itself is great: tons of seating for catching up, studying, or getting work done. My friend works here regularly, and honestly, nothing fuels productivity like a genuinely good cup of coffee. The staff has been lovely every time I've visited. I also really appreciate when workers get into the holiday spirit--when I stopped by on Halloween, they were fully festive, and it made the whole experience even sweeter. It's refreshing to see staff who clearly enjoy being there. I would absolutely recommend Apothecary. A true gem.

It's a cramped cafe, enough seating, but not enough space for the lineup and the wait-up for your drinks either. Parking will likely be found in the back, in the same parking lot as fresh time. Goetz rather congested in the parking lot as well as inside the café. There is a small boutique shop that could be used for the dining space and would clear some space for folks to stand and wait. I waited literally on top of folks at tables while waiting for my drinks. Ordered a caramel apple latte with espresso , pumpkin pie latte with oat milk, both come in 12 oz and two shots and a Sencha tea. $15.25 I asked for a small tea, but it looks like the 12 ounce is the only size they have. I tend to like the smaller cup of water with the tea, since it tends to always be too weak. It was getting so packed inside that folks went outside to drink or wait for their stuff. They do have drink carriers, but they are behind the counter, not out for the guests to get themselves. The Sencha was really weak and almost flavorless, even with the bag steeping for a long while. The pumpkin pie latte was good. The caramel apple latte wasn't too bad.

Nice place to do some study or work. Usually, it is pretty crowded with people on their laptops. They have either couches or dining table for you to relax. I like rustic charm of the exposed brick wall, and there are some house plants to mix up the colors. Coffee here is ok, I think it is darker than what I am used to

Such a cute coffee shop with plenty of places to sit either to chill, do work, or socialize. The staff was friendly and the coffee was delicious. I love the outdoor space also which also have plenty of parking. They have a variety of drinks and pastries. There is even a little shop inside to buy gifts.

I came here today to get some work done and it was pretty nice. I walked in and chose a table right away. It wasn't too busy, probably because it was 2pm on a rainy Wednesday. I get my table and go order. I get a hot oatmilk latte. For anyone who cares, they serve Chobani Extra Creamy Barista Oatmilk (I always ask) The coffee was good... the milk was not frothed well. Lots of bubbles within the milk (I'm a former barista so I care) but overall it tasted good. Later I got a chocolate croissant and they weren't able to warm it up. So sad. I only ate half because the rest honestly wasn't enticing. I dont know, not a bad experience but not a great one. Good place to get work done or chat with some friends.

This is my favorite coffee shop in SE Detroit, so naturally I had to add it to my line up of my WFC (work from cafe) series! I will never ever get tired of the iced honey comb latte. Every time I'm in here I know I should branch out and try another kind of latte, but I keep coming back to the honey comb. It's that good! The chocolate croissant was also delicious and had the perfect amount of sweetness. As for WFC, here are my pros: - Free wifi ! - Before lunch, this place is on the quieter end and has multiple seating options available! Tables and couches, whichever you prefer or need. - This is a pretty popular work spot, you'll always see someone else on their laptops. - The food and drink options are just too good! As for the cons: - Plugs are a little scarce. I was able to jump around to another table after a while and plug in my laptop. - After lunch it can get pretty loud. I prefer a livelier work environment so that was good for me! Overall, I will be back to work from here. I recommend this cafe to anyone I can. Staff is also so friendly and welcoming, I can't get enough of this place!

I would give 5 stars on the ambiance - the green plants and botanics are a nice touch. There is also a store in the cafe selling pottery, mugs, etc. I've been here twice now. The pros of this place is really just the ambiance and good environment to get some work done. Unfortunately I am not a fan of the drinks here. The honey comb latte the barista recommended to me the first time was really good. I just ordered a strawberry cheesecake matcha latte( it was on the special drinks board) and it's bitter and straight up tastes bad. It's too bad when you go to these cafes when you pay $7 for a coffee/ drink and tastes bad when I could get better drinks at Tim Hortons. Hence I will give 3 stars for the aesthetic efforts.

Such a lovely cafe!! The interior is adorable- green kitchen, lots of plants, and brick walls. I have explored much of the tea menu and have really enjoyed the ginger tea and hot matcha latte. It is always busy here and for good reason. The only con is that it can be hard to find a table, but customers are kind here and are generous to share a table!

I've been hearing about this place from a distance for years. It's not massively popular in a general sense, but regularly shows up in search results and recommendations. The hours and downtown Farmington location kept me away until just recently. Trying it will keep me away indefinitely. The drinks just aren't worth any special effort to get. Even if it were a convenient place to go to I'd drive out of my way for better. What I was given was barely warm. Within just minutes of receiving them they had the temperature of having been left out for 20 minutes. Because of this, all of the flavor was super syrupy and the milk was more prominent than anything else. Very unappetizing, but not the worst I've had. This place is also very stringent. One size drinks. No exceptions. Almost no additional options of any sort. Few pastries and other goods. The shop itself is petty nice. Attractive decor and overall very pleasant and 'lived in.' Super small, though, and with how popular they are you'll never find an open seat. Looking around will confirm why they're so popular. There's a board with tons of advertisements for clubs, live music, and other gatherings. People like it here because its the local place to be, which does no good for anyone else. There's plenty of other coffee shops within walking distance from Apothecary. Try some of them out instead. They'll be easier to find, too. Like others have said, there's no actual sign for this place. It took three drive arounds to see a thinly painted name on a distant window. We live on the West Coast, were looking for Yemini coffee, and fortunately found Qamaria's website, ordering the Gate of Yemen dark roast. The roast is lighter and less oily than a French roast, as it should be, with some oil in the beans appropriate to something called a dark roast. We would say that Qamaria not only skillfully but more importantly respectfully roasts for the bean. This coffee makes us very happy, with a good dark "round" and balanced aroma to the ground beans and the brew. We made it pour over, but it feels most appropriate to stove top espresso or traditional style. It has a very satisfying long tail. A pour with a plot. A touch of the right kind of bitterness. The bean crushes easily between the fingers and grinds up finer than the espresso blend that we drink pour over (45% French Roast using Columbian beans, 45% Italian Roast using Mexican beans and 10% dark roast using Indonesian beans). Qamaria dark roast makes a pour over cup that is thicker than expected, which we find very satisfying: it's a sort of the character of traditional brewing but in a Chemex. We like the surprising way that a slight, fine sediment sneaks through the pour over paper filters and spreads across the tongue. Next we will move on to other Qamaria roasts and blends, brewing on stove top. The price point kills us, but how does one settle for ordinary to save money, when extraordinary gives such pleasure?

Relative to staff and facility, Joe the owner greeted me as I walked in the door and was very friendly and outgoing where he knew the names of several customers as they walked into the coffee shop. Joes friendly demeanor appears to be one of the strengths of this business, aside from his excellent coffee, as evidenced the return customers that came in during the short period I was in his shop.
