Nobody was at the counter when we arrived, so we waited and after less then a minute the worker came out from the back and looked at me and the other 2 customers, and then stood behind the counter and kinda just stared off into space. After about 30 seconds of everyone being ignored, I put my other purchases away and left.

This is a great store with friendly staff. Above and beyond for sure. I did get their Tandoori Lemon Chicken from the deli which I have not seen in any other Save On Foods stores. And, it was so yummy. A little spicy I think for some people but everyone in my family loved it. And, deli sandwiches had a good deal - their gourmet sandwich/chips and a pop... and the sandwiches were so different and fun to try. So, yes the food is great and service well worth it. I definitely know why I shop at Save On - maybe just not on the first Tuesday of the month around 2:00 in the afternoon?!?! Why you ask? Because, as I said when I went it was the first Tuesday of the month. And, when I entered the store I didn't notice it but the line up for the cashiers was CRAZY. Now, I'm sure you are reading this and thinking she means Costco long lines. NO. I mean literally around the store, they needed a person directing traffic CRAZY. I was in line for 25 minutes before I was even directed in a cashier line up. And, then the person didn't know how to ring in the deli deal I had - not only was the person line behind me annoyed, I was beyond annoyed. Yes, I saved, because thankfully I did have a Save-on More savings card (can you imagine going through all that and not having one?), but was it worth it??? I honestly don't know? How much is your time worth? I will have to check it out again and let you know....

Located in the arrivals area between baggage pick-up 8 and 10, and right by where one exits the secure area. Forget Timmy's and the line up, Macs has better coffee and food selection. And slurpees. You know they're not the same anywhere else!

Bright, clean & fairly new Save On…read more Save On has a couple perks that keep me popping in like Daryl's Deal of the Week - think high end loss leader and often an excellent cut of meat from the butcher block. Another lovely thing about Save On is that they will give kiddos a free piece of fruit in lieu of the standard bakery cookie - love this! They have an Save On Rewards cats for deals and points accumulation that thankfully the cashier can lookup with your phone number once registered (one less card to carry around and lose). You need to know your price points when shopping here - there are deals to be had but many, many items are $1, $2, or even $3 more than what you find at Superstore. The washrooms at this location are located up front next to customer service - and I had to chuckle because the ladies was long like a bowling lane & there was a change table for wee ones :-) Two thumbs up :-) PS If you're on the hut for Halo Top, you'll find it here.

I popped in here on the way to a dinner and wanted to pick up some flowers. There wasn't much of a…read moreselection except for the usually bunch of carnations and a few other bunches. They had some about 7 nicer flower bunches for more than $20. I ended up getting a plant of mums for less than $10 with my Save On card. For a weekday evening around 6:30, it wasn't very busy and I didn't have to wait long in the line. The cashier was also kind enough to put the plant into a paper wrap for me. The store seemed clean and I would likely shop here for groceries if I need them and was in the area. If you are looking for flowers, you might not be able to find exactly what you want though.
