I decided to order a chocolate cookie so I could easily compare the taste with other cookies I've had in the past. The taste was fine, but the cookie lacked a clear identity. It was missing something. It took me awhile to figure out what though. This cookie needs to be paired with coffee. It would have been perfect if I would have ordered a cup of joe! Instead of coffee cake, this is a coffee cookie. I wouldn't order this cookie again unless I ordered coffee as well. I did order a s'mores brownie too. This was phenomenal! This was a winner! Next time I will come sit for a while instead of grabbing treats and rushing off. Maybe I'll invite a friend to sit and chat. I'll definitely order coffee with my treats when I return. They make their own syrups which I appreciate and value, but I am bummed that they don't offer a large option in their iced lattes. I have to get a medium and a small to make what I would get at other coffee shops which ended up being almost $13. My medium iced white mocha with blackberry was delicious, but the small had little chunks of white stuff in it and I ended up throwing it out because I couldn't chance it being the milk and making myself sick. I was greeted promptly by both the delectable selection and the woman running the shop. The truffles and fudge are first to greet you with tantalizing flavors and colors. Then on to the sky high cupcakes and cakes along with plenty of flavors of gelato. The do not miss part is the cheesecake variety on the end. The rest are an appetizer and the cheesecakes are the mouthwatering main. All of it pairs nicely with a variety of coffees, shakes, floats, and Italian sodas.
