Mind you, it is my fault for not realizing I was this low on gas, but sheesh! The cashier wasn't mean or anything, so something tells me it's out of their control. Maybe it's a low density area and not many customers come for gas, so the only way to get profits is to have exorbitant prices. Who knows. I got 3 gallons from here and left. I got more gas at another Chevron, with market rate prices. Don't go here unless you are desperate or don't mind paying inflated gas prices. Otherwise, just get at least 2 gallons here to get you to a market rate Chevron. That's it. That way you won't put unnecessary stress on your fuel pump by running the tank too low. I just changed my factory fuel pump last year. It was an easy and inexpensive diy job. But parts and labor probably cost hundreds of dollars at a licensed and bonded repair shop. So always get no less than 2 gallons if you get the low fuel warning indicator. Then fill up or get more gas at your local market rate fuel station. Only good about this gas station are ApplePay acceptance and convenient location near fwy. I paid with my Apple watch, via ApplePay, and got back on fwy. I didn't bother to use Vons gas rewards here.
