These guys suck! We were going to grab some lotto tickets from the store, but decided to order and grab some food from the restaurant next door before we did that. We parked in their handicapped space since my friend is handicapped and has a placard. The ordering and the line in the restaurant took longer than expected almost an hour. Came back and our car was gone. These jerks had our car towed! Went in and the dude is all "You were there for an hour and half. You could have told me you were coming back there's a sign that this is private property on the Handicapped space." There's no sign. This dude was just a jerk within an hour and he had us towed. I stopped in to get a soda and some chips and I went up to the counter put my food on the counter and the older man said 11.95 for the chips and a bottle of soda. I said how is that 11.99. I say what is the cost of the soda? Then the woman behind the counter said it is 5.85. Then I said why did he say 11.99? And she said oh he's just joking. I swiped my card for their air and the machine was broken. This is after the worker refused to turn on the air for me on Christmas Day - while my tire was flat. Upsetting to say the least. It's very difficult to get to because Hill is a busy 4 lane street since it is a feeder street to the 110 freeway. The lot is small and don't count on making a pit stop there to use the restrooms. They have no public restrooms. I suppose it's because it's in a sketchy neighborhood of China Town. By day it's ok because I take this street into downtown but at night it doesn't necessarily "feel" safe. If your tank is flashing empty it's ok to stop at night if your in a pinch. I just recommend that you don't spend a lot of time filling up there at night. Just get enough gas to get you to another gas station in a more familiar or less intimidating neighborhood. read more

I went here a lot for slush puppies until one day the machine was 95% chunky ice. I finished two slush puppies for 6$ in about 6 straw sips. Then I went back in and asked for a single refill after buying two large slush puppies and they said no and made up a lie that they have to pay for the ice as well, which technically they do but its like .5 percent of the price, the syrup is what they pay alot for. They wouldn't let me use the bathroom, saying it was for employees only. I didn't know they could do that. Also, there was no water in the buckets for using the squeegee on my windshield. I just checked in here. The gas station has purposely put a sign that there restrooms are no restrooms, this is unlikely of a Shell gas station. The outside parking lot is also quite dirty. The gas is also very expensive. I wouldn't recommend stopping at this gas unless you're running out of gas. read more

No wonder this has a 1.5 star rating. I would give this a zero. Today is March 16th, Saturday, 6:27pm. I came to this gas station to get something from the store. Their parking spaces stated "no stopping...tow away." So I asked the tall black guy who works there, who happens to be sweeping outside where I could park. This guy quickly got irritated, with a bad attitude and said, "you know what, you are making it hard for yourself bro! If you are going to the store you can park there." I pointed to him about the warning and he keeps saying with a reallly bad attitude, "you are making it hard for yourself bro!" When all I needed was a yes or no answer. You can tell that this man was not really happy working there and was going through something in life. I left right away and decided not to deal with his bad attitude and let this ruin my good day. ATTENTION MANAGEMENT!... you have a person who will pull your business down. Do not be desperate for these kind of employees.
