She mentioned they are pretty speedy with arriving. It's happened there a few times. Called them and they told me $75 service charge and they'd be there in 15 minutes. They arrived in about 10 minutes, fairly quick. And I totally expected to wait an hour. I was so thankful for the woman who recognized we were in a rut and provided a source that could help us. The floors needed a little attention, but overall the place was clean and if I'd actually been hungry I would have bought something. As it was I was just bored on such a long drive and wanted something to much. Nothing leapt out at me and I was on my way again. The gas prices are very reasonable here. They seem like some of the cheapest in town so when I drive this way I like to stop here to fill up.

I was 700 miles into a 2,000 mile road trip to move my daughter out of her college dorm when my car…read moreengine failed on I5 a few miles south of Williams, CA. I managed to pull off to the right side of the road but was only a couple feet away from very fast cars and trucks that would shake my vehicle as they passed. I called AAA but the first towing company they got for me called me 15 minutes later saying they wouldn't be able to get to me for at least 3 hours! After a couple more calls to AAA and a visit from a friendly highway patrol officer, I received a very welcome call from Walter at L&T Towing saying he was on his way. Walter was very friendly and helped me through a stressful situation. He knew the local town of Williams well and directed me to a highly rated mechanic who was able to work on my car early the next morning. He even dropped me off at a nearby Motel 6 where I stayed for the night. I can't thank Walter and L&T Towing enough for their excellent service! Sadly, my car seems to be in bad shape, and I had to leave it in Williams while I continued my trip with a rental car to move my daughter. I'll be back for my car in a few days to have it towed to the Subaru dealer in Sacramento. Hopefully I'll be able to get AAA to use L&T Towing and ideally Walter again for this next tow.

Willows Tire and Auto Care saved us! Our tire blew out on Highway 5 late in the day. We were much…read moretoo far from home to drive the whole way on our spare donut tire. We would have to wait for AAA to come, have them install the spare, then try to get to a tire shop before closing time to get a regular tire installed. It was getting late and AAA was taking its time. It looked like we'd have to find a place to stay overnight to get a tire installed the next morning. We called around. Alex at Willows Tire and Auto Care offered to come out and install a new tire right there on the roadside. He came quickly, and worked long past his regular closing time.
