We were immediately welcomed by not only a calm, inviting atmosphere but also the very pleasant owner and the sweetest little dog, whose greeting put the biggest smile on my face (we could've easily spent our whole vacation playing with them). We're alright. You don't have to spend a lot to look good, but a little extra never hurt. Shirts, suits, and ties at The Gentry Shop may cost a little more, but you get what you pay for. This is a haberdashery, not the denim and gun aisle at Walmart. Gentlemen of height greater than average will appreciate the fine tailoring done here, particularly with respect to neckties. For those 6'2" and above--not an insignificant percentage of modern American males--standard length ties will simply not do the job. Starting a unicorn ranch is easier than finding handsome, quality extra long ties. But there's hope. The Gentry Shop (although they do have a few good long ties) will expertly lengthen a regular tie and ship it to you. You may be wearing a once lilliputian cravat, but your friends and colleagues will be none the wiser, and compliments will commence.
