I walked several aisles in both directions looking for an employee and none were to be found. It's like they're genies and they disappear the second you come around the corner. I probably should have gone to the break room to find someone. Both times I walked out empty handed. The second time I went in I didn't walk out empty handed but I did buy , what looked like the best quality, version on the shelf and it just seems cheap and inferior to being the contractor grade things I'm used to from other vendors. I'm not saying I'd NEVER go back, but they will forever be a last option.

Valley Sand & Gravel is a place that needs to be called out. As I scouted the place out for gravel in order to landscape my yard, the person working there actually raised their voice at me. I don't mean the person was one of those people who speaks louder than your average bear.... I mean he was actually pissed off (over nothing) and yelled like he might scold his son. I only politely asked if I might be able to get the gravel delivered the same day. Not to mention, I got very little help, and felt a bit rushed by the employee. Also, unlike other places, they aren't open on Saturday, apparently shut down early some days, and are more expensive than neighboring competitors. If you are looking for a good place to get gravel or rocks, see my review on Dakota's Decorative Rock as I had a great experience there! They also have a much better selection!

My service was good then and was good the other day June 2014.

I read previous reviews regarding the person, which the reviewer called an extremely rude "a hole", and truly I was hoping I won't meet the same person. Mark helped me and my tanks were filled in a jiffy. He is a truly nice guy and I hope he's been recognized by management for that. I also like to give a special thanks to Jessica who helped me to find a collapsible trash bin for my RV I was searching for a long time.
