The tow truck delivered it to Destination Ford. We found that a recall might apply to the situation and called Destination Ford first thing Monday morning. The service manager's first concern was whether our daughter was stranded there in Brady. On finding all was ok there, he then committed to getting our car in line for service. My 99-f150 blew a hose on 183. I replaced the hose and filled it with antifreeze. The coolant…read moresystem had air in the line so I went and bought more antifreeze to bleed out the line. I was in a hurry and purchased the wrong antifreeze which I did not realize until I opened it up and poured some in. I took my truck in to have a flush done. I paid $135.00 and my truck still had air in the system. I took my truck back in and I said that I could not get over 45 mph because it's overheating. One of the techs said well you have air in the system. I said that's why I brought it in to have it flushed. He stated that without a bleeder valve he does NOT know how to bleed it. And he suggested that I take my truck to Brownwood radiator. I paid $135.00 for service which should have included a bleed and still can't drive my truck. I have been taking all three of my cars here for 10 years. Very disappointed in the service today and will not return.

I just bought a new used car. I love it and drive it a lot. The oil life was showing it needed a…read morechange and I wanted to put my money in a local place so I found Lampasas lube and tire. I pulled in and asked for an oil change and to have them look at the fuel filter. Here's where it almost got derailed. The technician laughed at me and said this thing doesn't even have a fuel filter...I got mad cause well that was rude but I still needed an oil change. Rusty had me step inside and came to ask about my oil choice. I do know cars so I asked about the fuel thing again because I knew something was going on with the fuel system. He gave me some information about the system and we did a file system cleaning on it. Rusty made sure i I was aware that it might not fix the issue but that it could and I gave him the go ahead. When I paid I asked that they check the tires and the man who laughed earlier emerged and walked me through all the checks and information I needed to make the correct decisions for my car. While his first response was not necessarily wonderful and I could have been upset by showing grace I was able to get good information from a knowledgable young man. I got a great service by professionals who didn't take advantage of my ignorance. In a world where people are run by emotions it was a great opportunity for grace and kindness. I definitely recommend Rusty's place.

Mr. Moreno is normally not open on Saturday's but he was coming into the office to catch up on some of his other car's he was working on. I explained what happened to Mr. Moreno & he and his assistant help us out and got the radiator patched. When I reached my destination I had another mechanic look at it and he said that there was very little water coming out of the radiator.
