In the video, it featured translucent prints which I thought were sooo cool and unique! Micheal (the owner) was easy to work with and flexible as we were planning our wedding. We solely communicated through email. Though 8Bit might be on the pricer side of the photobooth market, I think it was worth every penny! Our guests had a lot of good things to say, experiencing the photobooth from the translucent print and the culturally inclusive props such as boba, baos, rice cooker and more! I loved how we were able to personalize our photobooth experiences for our guests, especially creating our own design with our names to match the theme of our wedding. We did get a free upgrade to the Glam-Air photo booth, which was super nice of Michael to do! With the Glam-Air, it included an interactive digital mirror for guests to check themselves out before getting their photo taken that we wished our guests used! But due to our venue being outside at night and the line formation our guest didn't get to interact with it All in all, I would highly recommend 8BitPhotobooth for your next event! 8bit was one of the first vendors that we booked for our wedding. We were so glad we were referenced to them from our photographer and videographer group. Michael was so easy to work with. He always responded with emails within the same day or even within hours, and he's one of the most reasonable vendors that we worked with. His team was flexible in creating three different translated signs on how to use the audiobook for our special day. Their props are some of the best props I've ever seen. We also booked 8bit for our meet and greet but we were worried how the Photo Booth would take up space in the middle of the hallway. Michael was flexible and came to our venue a few months in advance and set up test shots on how the meet and greet photos would look and how the photo booth would look like in our venue space. I wanted the meet and greet photos in one location and the photo booth in a separate location. He came and tested out photos in both spots and sent me the samples. He did this in his own time, too, and without charging us to flip locations. Before diving into the details, though, I'd highly recommend going with the voicemail services for your event! We just finished listening through all of them and hearing our guests get progressively more intoxicated throughout the night was so much fun! I'll start with the photobooth - there are two aspects here that I was really happy with. First, the photos printed within seconds, with enough copies for everyone. With weddings, you want to be everywhere at once: the bar, the dance floor, the photobooth, the restroom, and time spent waiting for your photobooth pictures to print can be a little bit of a buzzkill, so having the pictures printed and ready to go before we finish putting the props back was great. Speaking of the props, those were some pretty hilarious props! From hotdog hand gloves to cute boba plushies, Michael sure brought a unique and entertaining list for our guests to enjoy! Second is the voicemail. These days, how many people even know what a traditional landline, corded telephone is? Maybe that's why foot traffic was a little bit lighter to start the evening. This is where Michael came in, when he noticed that guests were overlooking the voicemail messages, he began to walk around pre-wedding (and during cocktail hour) to prompt guests to leave a message! By the end of the night the crowd had found its legs and were all hurrying over to the phone to leave us... unique messages, oftentimes more than once! Up until wedding day, everyone constantly reminded me of how quickly the wedding would zip by and they were not kidding. In the midst of the chaos, I remember very vividly seeing the photobooth set up where it needed to be and on time, if not a little bit ahead of schedule which was something I immensely appreciated. I also appreciated the perfect lighting, the fun props, and the excellent quality of the prints. Seriously, my wife (first time dropping that title in my reviews!!) and I LOOOOVE photobooth pics. We will hog it to ourselves (assuming there isn't anyone waiting) and take lots and lots of photos. We've done many photobooth pics and NONE of them come close to Michael's/8Bits'! My wife and I really loved the lighting. It highlighted everything just right and made everyone extra beautiful. I also designed our own little banner/wedding logo for the photos and Michael was able to make improvements to it to refine it and make it look great on the prints. Working with Michael was very pleasant. The timely communication, the set-up, the quality of the photobooth and prints, props, and more importantly, the very reasonable pricing. Everything was perfect. He answered ALLLL my questions in an organized manner. TRULY great to work with. I was very thoughtful of every part of my wedding so I love that 8Bit has tons of different templates you can choose from or create, they offer many options/add-ons, plus their unique, fun props puts them over the top. He is super responsive and was very helpful with my design needs and fonts since I wasn't really sure what I wanted. He made multiple tweaks to my photo strips since I was so fickle but he was super friendly and never gave me a hard time. They had a lot of backdrop options for you to choose from. All of my guests loved the props especially the boba cups and hot Cheetos!!!! They couldn't stop raving about it. Kristina came early to set up and make sure everything was ready in time for the meet and greet and it went smoothly.
