I was so nervous trying a new place since I've only been to one stylist. However, I heard great things about this place and always wanted to try it. Jessica did my hair with the help of Madison. Y'all... they were so friendly and explained EVERYTHING so you weren't in the dark. They were so friendly and made conversation easy. They helped me pick out my color (again real nervous since I didn't know) they gave me their opinion and I let them work their magic! Boy, did it work!!! I have never felt so confident with my hair. Jessie is an absolute fraud. She massacred a $2500 hairpiece. She admitted fault and said she would accept responsibility for ruining the piece. She professed to be so embarrassed and sorry and said she was going to replace the piece or pay me $2500. In the end I received nothing except a bunch of empty promises. read more

I got a call to come in earlier for my appointment as the salon receptionist said that my stylist has time. I come in five minutes after the call. I remain waiting for almost an hour past my original appointment time, with the coming in earlier in mind. I get that if it's busy but the other stylists were fawning over a puppy and a baby. I finally got sat down and my stylist kept walking away to talk to other people. I got service maybe an hour and a half past my appointment time, having to push back my clock-in time at work. I asked for my undercut trimmed, layers and a trim. I got a trim, no layers and she did not have the guard for my undercut, which is a generic guard. Got my hair styled after, it looked awful and frizzy and weird. Charged me the full amount after the long wait and bad styling. Never going back. Ever. read more

Will never go back to this salon again.Jessica V did awesome the first time.My hair was damaged from a previous stylist she did give me pointers on getting it back healthy.I went for a touch up highlight every 3 months so I had been going for a year.My hair had got thick again.I was offered extensions the first time but I refused.My hair was damaged and I didn't want the extension further damaging it.1st and 2nd visit was fine.Third visit which was in the 20th.I made my app at 2.I received a text to be there at 1:15.I sit maybe 30 min up front.I go back to the salon chair.She pulls my hair up in sections.The bottom length of my hair i told her to trim or dust it.its already thinner than the rest of my hair.Jessica V goes in with thinning shears and I stop her.I ask,what are you doing.She said I'm just blending it in with your hair.So she leaves me waiting and goes to work on someone else's hair.She does a cut,blowout and style on the other client.That took about 45 min. In that time I had gone to the bathroom and started looking at the bottom of my hair.I couldn't tell that much but noticed one side was four inches shorter than the other.I go sit back down.I proceeded to have another stylist and the owner come and ask me what kind of highlight I wanted.Where was my stylist?Doing another clients hair..So I went in for a full highlight where I was clearly talked into a partial due to overbooking apparently.She does a few highlights sits me in the sink with toner for another45 min while she cuts and styles another client.She finally comes rinses the toner out then continues with a conditioner.She proceeds to shampoo another lady that isn't even her client.I was there 5 hours and she worked in me maybe an hour.She dried my hair I wouldn't even consider it a proper blowout.Then I notice how thin my hair was when it was dry.I told her she cut my hair now I was going to have to cut it.She went into a back room and wouldn't come out.I expressed to Jessie the owner that she used thinning shears in my hair and it was already thin.She offered to add one row of extensions.Why would I though.This was my hair I grew out for a year just to have her stylist ruin it to add fake hair.It's all a gimmick to sell extensions.My hair was thinned and prepped for extensions.My hair had minimum damage when I walked in that salon.I was offered extensions the first day I went into that salon and because my hair was pretty again it was ruined..For what..The extensions..I'm warning people what you're going to be told at this salon to get you to buy extensions."Your hair has very bad bleach damage,it will have to be cut but we can add extensions until yours grows out"They will blame a shampoo,ball cap or hair tie for damaging your hair and cut it so you will get extensions.I didn't pay for what I received.I told her my disappointment and she couldn't be a good person in the process.Here's a warning to someone that's vulnerable with your hair right now.Don't go to this salon!!Update..I found another stylist to fix my hair.I had to cut it but i know I can trust my current stylist..It's finally growing. read more

The first time I went I got a cut and color! Looks amazing! I seriously never let anyone cut my hair because it cuts weird/uneven, but Jessie listened to my concerns about it and got it looking perfect!! 2nd time I went I got a Keratin treatment from Ashley! I have long thick hair and it takes FOREVER to blow dry! After the treatment, i was able to dry in 12 minutes! thought I would let everyone know about what this salon is about. I lived in Columbia for about 6 months when the pandemic was starting so dwindle a little bit. I was a teen wanting to go blonde. I tried to look for a salon that was open as everything was starting to open up again. I found this place, and booked an app online. when I showed up they were still closed. I had no idea, but I met the owner outside and she told me they wouldn't be opening up until next week. I felt really bad and was extremely apologeti. I felt like a Karen. I told them they could take their time to reschedule as I completely understood, but they wanted to get me in right away. they even gave me a 20% off on my hair appointment. they got me in at the end of the month, just before June. the owner said she would take over my appointment and get me taken care of. on the day of the appointment I get there and everyone is all over the place, theres still lights on the floor, I see plastic from painting still on the floor, there's barely anything in stock. I was confused as to why they scheduled the appointment so soon if they don't have anything ready. I brushed the thought away and sat at the chair. I told her I wanted to bleach all my hair to go blonde. She told me she would start me out with some 'baby highlights in the roots and run the highlights down your hair' then in the next 2 sessions I can get a nice blonde. I didnt know what she was really talking about so I just went with her. She got all the bleach in and put me under the heat dome and left. I was very confused and felt like I was forgotten about, she didn't really try to make small talk with me through the process of the bleach, I tried a little bit but was quickly shut down So I stopped trying. she ended up leaving me there for an hour, only checking on me About 2 times. I felt horrible, like I was In their way. When the hair was finished (which looking at the pictures the hair was horrible) I went to check out to pay. Even with the 20% off it was still over 200$. It turns out that she charged me for a balayag, one of the most expensive things they did. I didn't say anything and just left. I went back to my hometown and booked an appointment with my sisters hair stylist and told her what happened. She said that I was scammed because looking at my hair, she did not do a balayage. I felt cheated. the funny thing is that I found out that if they had rescheduled me not even a week later, in June, that they had a special where balayages were 99$. Worst hair salon i have ever been to. even if my friend bleached my hair and it all fell out, that would still be better then this place. If you are getting your hair bleached or colored for the first time, watch out for people like this. read more

I had been wanting to try out 931 since I bought a house around the corner in July and when I saw a Groupon offer, I went for it. I am so happy that I did! When I first arrived, Kennon greeted me and offered me a beverage, I accepted the wine , and he then escorted me to his chair. We discussed what I was looking for in my haircut and then he proceeded to give me an amazing wash which included a sugar scrub for my scalp. It smelled delightful and felt amazing! He then cut my hair quickly, and EXACTLY how I asked! This is a huge deal for me because I never seem able to find someone who listens to me when I describe what I'm looking for in a cut. I am so happy with the finished product and even more happy to have found a stylist that I'm excited to go back to!
