I moved to Nashville almost 3 years ago now, and I've seen 5 hair stylists before her. She is my last. Emily is amazing. She transforms hair into the best version of yourself. She gets to know you and your hair, she understands what you need and delivers. I simply cannot say enough amazing things of this woman! Another great hair rec in Nashville. Ally Munford gave me a full balayage and a haircut and I'm thrilled with the results. If you're looking for beautiful, natural, beachy California blonde, look no further. I had a terrible experience last year at another salon, then found someone I loved but she went on an extended maternity leave and I was back at square one. I am so happy to have found Ally! I wasn't looking forward to going to a salon during a pandemic, but I hadn't had a haircut in a year so it was long overdue. That said, my experience at Ecco was great. My stylist (Courtney) was really friendly and super on top of preventative measures (wearing a mask, sanitizing etc.) and she did a fantastic job on my hair. read more

"In Jenna I trust." My long time colorist Jenna Henry moved to ECCO several months ago, so of course I followed her! The salon has the best energy and the stylists and staff are friendly and professional. The open layout and the shop puppies in the window provide a social atmosphere everyone enjoys. The quality of their products is top notch and my hair has never looked healthier. When you go ask for Jenna. She's a breath of fresh air with mad skills! My 14 year old daughter went to get her highlighted and her hair looked awesome. The the thing that is disturbing me as a parent is that the person doing her hair was carrying on very inappropriate conversations with my daughter. She was discussing sex and how she wished she never gave her body up to her boyfriend. Also was telling my daughter that she was all about legalization of marijuana and all of it's positive uses. she asked my daughter for her cell number and asked to text her pictures of her hair. My daughter felt that was ok until she started asking for pictures of her hair with her face. read more

I've had my hair done by Brienna. She is THE best colorist ever! I loved the way my hair turned out! Not only is she amazing with color, style and cuts but she has such a sweet and uplifting spirit about her. Nataley was wonderful and gave me the hair I've been trying to achieve for over a year. She really listened and made me feel confident. She even gave a hand/arm massage while my color was setting, and then a back and neck massage after the wash/rinse. This made my experience feel more spa like and was very relaxing. Great place! Very clean. I've tried a few other salons since moving here about two years ago, but will stick with this one. I had an all over toner, foils, cut and style and it was 195$ before tip. read more

I had my first appt with Nataley and was impressed from the time I walked they the door. She was very thorough and discussed what we were doing as far as my color. She even gave me a hand massage which was a very nice extra touch. I was very pleased with my hair and I will be going back! If I could give it less than one star I would. I got my haircut here a few days ago and I asked for an inch, she cut off half of my hair off! 75$ for my first visit and I could of honestly done it myself for free and not have done such a terrible job :) read more

I've had some time to think this over... I had possibly one of the worst hair appointment experiences I've encountered. I scheduled a first time appointment at 9:15 today... I arrived at 9:10 where the building seemed really empty - they opened at 9:00 so this was a little understandable. No one was at the front desk, so I sat down in a chair by the window. I sat down next to a woman who was also waiting and proceeded to say "Hello, Good morning!". She literally looked up from her phone, looked at me to say nothing and looked back down... (Okay then). Two stylists walk out and another woman walks into the salon. Both stylists notice their clients and call them back to the styling chairs and offered them both water. I was left there sitting alone, with no acknowledgement. By this time it was 9:15... I sat there counting all the fly's swarming around me when 9:30 rolls around. I got up and walked to the back of the salon (still no receptionist in sight) where the stylists were with their clients and told them that I had an appointment with *Unnamed* at 9:15 and wanted to know if she was there. They said that she just walked in. I walked back to the front and sat back down. *Unnamed* walks out and proceeds to greet me and apologize - making me full aware as to why she was late - her kids. I'm a person who, I feel, is pretty full of grace... and I have kids, so I told her it was okay... I was mainly irritated because no one said anything to me and I figured they must have forgotten that I called to make the appointment. I was walked to the back where her daughter and dog followed us... I sat down for a hair wash and the dog literally jumped in my lap. I was sitting there getting my hair washed with a dog on my lap. I was taken back that no one told the dog to get down. I wasn't relaxed at all and I thought it was just really unprofessional! I mean... I didn't even know how to react. After that ordeal was over, I got my hair trimmed... about 1/4 of an inch cut and the rest of my head was styled using a texturizing tool. I would say about 30 minutes total with shampoo and blow dry. Conversation was meh... divorce talk wasn't my cup of tea for morning conversation with someone I just met. The cut was $75 and because I'm not an ass, I tipped 20%. So a $90 hair cut (that was worth about $30) for this experience wasn't great at all... I wasn't even offered any water haha. I can't believe this salon is still in business due to their lack of attention and customer service. I think I'm just REALLY disappointed because I really wanted to like this place. It's a stone throw away from where I live and because I don't get my hair cut often, I don't mind spoiling myself and spending $90 on a nice time. My life is so busy and it's hard to get 'me time'. I'm just disappointed and won't be returning. read more

Honestly, this salon experience will stick in my mind as one of the worst experiences with a salon. The receptionist working was incredibly rude while I was making my appointment. This should have been my first red flag, but I chalked it up to her having a bad day, which I can understand. On the day of my appointment I arrived 15 minutes early and after waiting a good 45 minutes after my appointment's scheduled time, I was told that the girl I was scheduled with (who I really liked) left earlier that day. I received no phone call about this, but again, things happen and I was understanding. Another stylist said she would take me and I was grateful... until she went on to tell me she hates cutting hair and her specialty is color (I was there for a hair cut). I smiled, held my breath, and hoped for the best. The stylist was nice and we had a good conversation, but in the end, the haircut was a mess, definitely not one of the sleek, stylish cuts I have seen on their Insta. I have naturally wavy hair and left looking like a poodle with stick straight bangs. This was definitely not what I had asked for (at no point did I even mention bangs). I was holding back tears as I went to pay and the previously mentioned receptionist told me my total. It was grossly more than I had been quoted even with tax and tip included. I politely mentioned the price being more than expected and the receptionist became so defensive and snarky I was taken aback. She all but threatened to call the cops. In no way, shape, or form did I even insinuate I was unwilling to pay for the services as I am not one to try to get things for free, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a mistake. But this lady acted as if I was trying to leave the salon without paying! I felt so uncomfortable and after the disaster of a haircut, I could not leave quick enough. No, they did not fry my hair off or turn it green. And yes, I really tried to like this salon, but after the terrible attitude and subpar service, I will definitely not be back. read more
