My husband decided to try this place its close to our air bnb. The reviews looked solid. But he came back so upset. He said $40 wasted. I immediately could spot the mistakes and the unevenness. We put some alcohol on the back because he said the barber did not put any aftershave. It started to welt up even more. He said it felt rushed despite no one else waiting. Now he is embarrassed to go to work tomorrow, this is not even mediocre work. Would NOT recommend this place!

I've never left a review before, but this place was pretty bad. When I was saying what I wanted he basically ignored me and it shows by the haircut. No fade and then gave me a front Mohawk type thing when I just wanted a light fade and simple scissor cut. Definitely going to another barber shop to get this fixed. No big deal but just won't be back again

This is the best barbershop in town. Never a long wait and the prices are very reasonable. I won't go anywhere else. They do a great job of every time for me and my sons. Thanks Al!

I drive all the way from Lynnwood to come here to this barbershop, I've been coming for the past 6 months best hair cuts ever. If ur looking for nice fades and beard I highly recommend this place, Mike is my barber he is the best!

Hair cut was nice! Only docking stars because I watched them repeatedly use the same cape for each client over and over and there was absolutely no ventilation in there and with it being smaller and COVID times it got very uncomfortable and stuffy inside the establishment as it filled with clients. Highly recommend an air system in there or an air purifier during COVID and keeping on top of sanitization protocols. Even prop the door open, something! All over great hair cut, iffy protocols. My brother comes up to Seattle to visit often just for the " bougie" hair cuts and this shop did a good cut for him.

Amazing and Professional work by Al Marid! This place rocks! If you want to look good and feel good about you Go to 95th St. Barbershop

Would not recommend anyone to come here. My boyfriend came in for a haircut and asked for a fade in the back. It looked like somebody buzzed a line on the bottom and left the top long. It was very sloppy, weird long pieces in some places, and just overall looked like a careless attempt at a haircut.

It's come to this: the Colman Building Barbershop is the only place I'll get my hair cut anymore…read more I've had cheap haircuts and I've had expensive ones. Robby's shop falls somewhere in the middle, price-wise, but his work and his partner Madison's are consistently at the top of the list when I get out of the chair and get a look at what they've done. There's never that awkward "oh no, what am I going to do with this?" moment when you see it for the first time. Simply put, their cuts look fabulous, every time. As experiences go, the Colman Barbershop is fun and relaxing. You can go expecting funny adult conversation with a racy edge to it, classic rock on the stereo, a comfortable old-school barbershop chair to sit in, and a phone that rings like a phone, not an electronic tweet. Robby and Madison not only deliver a great cut, they have genuine fun chatting with you and with each other while you're there. And men? Go with the knowledge that you're not quite done when your hair is done. You've got a rare treat in store before you're all the way finished, a back-of-the-neck shave with warm shaving cream and a straight razor, followed up with a warm wet towel. It's a delight for the senses not to be missed, and it feels fantastic afterwards. So. It comes to this: get thee to the Colman Building Barbershop for 45 minutes of entertaining downtime, for good music, for a little nostalgia, and most importantly, for the best haircut you'll ever have. Call me picky, but I won't settle for anything less.
