I'm so sad that's there's only one of these stores here. I've looked everywhere for a store like this. They have great items for 1$ and I went a few days ago and they have shelves for only 14$ compared to a retail store of looking anywhere from 50-100$, it's a sale and sturdy too. I only wish they had more of these located close. read more

Really liked my first time coming in here. It was easy to walk around and grab what I needed and more. They do have some good deals that range between .50 and $5.00. Some things you can get at a regular store for the same price, but others you cannot. It is definitely best to grab it when you see it as it most likely will be gone if you try to come back. This was my first visit to this spot that I have eyed so many times while going to the bank. I decided to stop in and find some prizes for my school picnic this weekend and boy I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and the number of items they had in the store. The store is well maintained, the workers were helpful, and I had a ton of items to choose from. This is definitely one place I will return to when looking for cheap items to give away. read more

I went to this location at 8:54 and was denied to enter the store. I told the young short lady with long blondish hair that I only needed one thing and I would be fast! She replied with that's what everyone says. I asked to speak to a manager and she claimed that she was the manager. This was terrible customer service and lost a customer because she was in a rush to get off of work. read more

They closed their location on Rufe Snow Blvd. So we come to this location now. I like to save money and the store is well stocked and clean. Main purpose is to buy aloe vera drink and impulse items. My only beef is having to put 25 cents to rent a cart. There always seems to be an empty police car parked in front near the road. Nice clean store off Colleyville Blvd. and Cheek-Sparger Rd. in Colleyville, TX. Easy to find and plenty of available parking. As usual, there were only a couple lines open like most 99 cent locations, but they were both short and service was quick and efficient. Items were stocked neatly and the store was clean. A slow paced location compared to most others. Would visit again. read more

Horrible. They advertised a tree for sale on Black Friday and handed out wrist bands for the first 99 people. There were multiple people in the same family that were leaving with 3 items. Instead of enforcing one per family, only 1/4 of the people that were there early were able to take advantage of what they promoted very heavily. It's sad that people take advantage of things and this management team didn't do a better job enforcing it to make sure more of their customers were able to take advantage of the deal. People were then outside trying to resell the items they just bought. .... Definitely won't be back. Awful! read more

My Mom kept telling me that this place has the best avocados and I just could not wrap my head around purchasing produce at a Dollar Store. I tagged along today and was super surprised over all the food options. It is just like a grocery store with most items .99 or 2/.99. There was one freezer at the front that had 2.69 items. It is clean and organized another thing I would not associate with type store. I live right down the street so I will probably be back. read more

Nice selection for a 99 cents only store ... as the previous poster has said they have started carrying things that are more than 99 cents ... which I just now started noticing as they have been pushing it more recently. At least most of those items were on a single isle and most of those items I could get else where for about the same price, I figure they were more for those who wanted to buy out convenience of already being there. Then again I don't make regular trips to the 99 cents only store, maybe 1-2 times a month. I usually avoid those more than .99 cent items for I am usually after the cheep gift bags, stocking stuffer, gift bag fillers, and random coloring books and random other gift "filler" for birthday gifts ... coloring books, crayons, etc ... I will sometimes find things like Big Red, can goods or some other grocery item that overstocked else where and now has hit the shelves of my local 99 cent only store that I'll pick up if I'm there. I usually like coming here over other dollar stores with the knowledge that most everything I grab is a buck or less ... I don't know how much that will change with the push to be more like other dollar stores. read more

I've been shopping at these stores for years. Great way to cut some corners of your budget. Never found anything expired. Though I have noticed over the last couple of years some items over .99, have been creeping in. Been hoping it is not going to become a faster trend.
