I hosted a surprise birthday dinner party for a house about 10 miles from their Hurst address. I needed 4 round 60" tables and 32 garden chairs that didn't scratch up wooden floors. I called in for a quote 2 weeks prior, made a reservation 5 days prior (I wouldn't recommend reserving last minute like I did). Prices were on par or better than other party rental companies in the area. Wendy was the point of contact, and she was very friendly and easy to work with over the phone. She wasn't rushed in explaining details to me. Delivery and rented equipment came as scheduled. Tables and chairs were clean, white table linens were clean, stainless, and pressed. This review is not so much about the company but for the rude employee that decided that I didn't need to use my driveway while he was doing a job for my neighbor. I came home to a blocked driveway. I asked why he blocked my driveway when there was plenty of room in front of his customer's house. He said "is it a problem" and I said yes I can't get in. He ignored me and continued to do whatever. We went in to get a table and chairs for Thanksgiving and we were literally in and out within minutes. The guy who helped us was super friendly and when we forgot about the 5:00 deadline to bring the items back the next day, he stayed late, just for us. 17$ is a great price for 8 chairs and a huge round table and they were all in perfect working order. My first experience with Aladdin was a couple of years ago when we needed a last-minute bounce house for my 40th birthday. The owner himself came out to set it up - I had concerns about my slanted back yard. The bounce house was fun, more so for the kids that came than my knees, I mean, me. They were pro (the one guy's name is Jody) and I ended up with an extra day because I told him it was my 40th. Since then I've used them for tents, tables, party supplies, kids' games and recommended them to quite a few people. I don't know if they are the cheapest around because I am not the type to comparison shop much, but the service and quality merch was worth it, and I didn't feel robbed or anything - all in the ballpark of what I expected to pay. read more

Rented a Margarita machine from here for my wedding night on Friday. When we received it it was still a little dirty but not that big of a deal. We washed it and went on to have a great night. After the evening we left for our honeymoon and my father broke everything down and cleaned up the event site. The rule was that the margarita machine had to be returned by 2pm on Saturday. Around 11:30 on Saturday my father arrived to return the machine and ran into big trouble. It turns out that my father loaded the margarita machine into the car whole but broke down the mobile wire cart that it sits on to more easily fit it in the car. This wire cart is like a small metal industrial cart made of tubes that fit together. When he arrived at Aladdin and unloaded the items into their shop the woman at the counter immediately started freaking out shouting "you broke it!" "you broke it!" and said she would have to get someone else to see it. As my father waited, and of course said it was not broken, a man walked out and said, "oh my f-ing god, I've never seen someone so stupid". My father was astonished at this and tried to explain that he just popped it apart to fit more easily into the car. The man with grey hair behind the counter was extremely mad and would not listen to reason while he was yelling and cursing at my father. My father again explained that he simply popped it apart and can put it back together in about 5 minutes if he needs to. This did not help the situation and the man continued to be hostile confronting my father as if he wanted to fight. My father asked why he was being this way and the man said, " I have to deal with dumb mother f***ers like you every day, that's why". In the end, my father again offered to put it back together quickly but they refused and said they would do it and fine me for the trouble. The only problem with this idea is that my father offered to do it and it wasn't even close to 2pm yet. The company refused to give my father any paperwork as proof of return. Eventually with all of the yelling and belittling my father just had to walk out and leave the property on the counter. I would suggest that if you have the option, use any other company than this one. This was our fist time and obviously our last. And in case you are wondering, I did call while I was on my honeymoon to find out what happened after my father called me. They had the exact same attitude with me over the phone adding that they would count up everything and call me with what I would need to pay them for the trouble. After I went on to tell them that my father offered to put it back together before 2pm they got more hostile with me over the phone and just said I was never allowed back to their shop again. read more

Terrible customer service! Very rude! We rented a machine from them and the only thing they did was deliver the margarita machine on the day of our event and that was about it they were complete jerks after that. So it all started with they don't open Sunday's so they didn't want to pick up the machine that day, even after knowing the place where our event was taking place closes Monday and to top it off they didn't want to pick it up that night either, when we told them to pick it up Tuesday they made a whole scene about how they don't open and they would charge $200 extra if they had to go get it either Saturday night or Tuesday so then finally when they opened Wednesday after going through a big hassle of things and dozens of phone calls, they say we can go take it (they didn't pick it up) and they charged $100 in late fees after the only reason we couldn't get it back to them was because they were closed!!(and he also said he would charge $200 if he had to go on one of his days off so we could give his machine back) He also threatened us by saying if we didn't pay the late fees he would charge the whole margarita machine about $500 and make it seem as if it was "stolen" and still wanted to get in my face and call me a "dick" for not wanting to pay something that's out of my control after I even brought it no one picked it up he still wanted to charge. Long story short they have terrible customer service and I will never be going back there I don't recommend this place to anyone it's just been a terrible experience. read more
