Glad they came when they did. We were LA bound, then due to an emergency needed a tow back to Vegas. The boyfriend and I were in a rental car to LA early on a Saturday morning, hit something in the middle of the road and ended up stuck on the side of the road (secondary one) just outside of Primm. After about 1 hour of waiting in the cold (accurately predicted by the AAA representative), one of their representatives came out. Thank goodness for AAA. We rode back to Vegas, had the car towed to a body shop. Luckily, the truck had an extended cab and was rather warm, so we took a nap on the way to Vegas. After a bit of paperwork and some negotiating (the guy knocked $50 off the bill since I didn't have the upgraded AAA membership which meant that towing was gonna be expensive, thankfully) I was able to get back on the road again. So happy with their service! We got our truck stuck in the sand at kelso dunes, and AAA refused to help us. We called a-1, and they came out right away and got us unstuck so quickly! We also noticed a nail in our tire on our trailer while they were there, so they put on our spare tire for us. The next day, we went to their shop and were helped by the same father/ son team- they patched up our tire very quickly and replaced it back on to our trailer. We had one more issue with the trailer that they fixed right away as well. We would have been completely screwed that weekend, with so many issues, but they came to our rescue over and over again. Our car broke down on the way to Las Vegas just as the sun was setting. AAA called A-1 for us and Dennis showed up 30 min later. After AAA told us that we'd have to call back once they towed us to so we somewhere safe to get a ride from there we were nervous about being stranded alone in a pretty remote location. Dennis immediately asked if we were ok and what we wanted to do. We told him what we had heard from AAA and he agreed that it didn't sound safe for us to wait. He asked us if we wanted to stay in the car while it was towed to Vegas, so we did. He called me from the tow cab to make sure we were ok and to check if we needed anything. He even offered to wait with us at the repair shop for our ride once we got there - and waited even though we said we'd be ok. I developed a leaking transmission line on my way home from Utah and by shear luck found out about it on an impromptu bathroom break just outside of Baker. Honestly I was a bit disappointed about this place. I was going home from Vegas when my tire got a nail that wasn't patchable so i knew i was going to need a new tire. I installed my spare tired and drove to the nearest exit on the freeway and searched up a tire shop and found this spot in yelp with good reviews so that made me happy but once i got there they took forever to help me out! Im a patient guy so i tried not to let it get to me but after 2 hrs i was finally helped like FINALLY!!.....they gave me options on which new tire i wanted and got one that was a price at $150....the tech guy seemed he was struggling to put the new tire on but i just let him do this thing....after that he installed my tire and was charging me $260!! I was like what???!! Then noticing he installed THE WRONG TIRE!!...i noticed he was bothered but he went on removing the wheel and taking off the wrong tire off and putting the correct one, he then installs my wheel WITHOUT BALANCING THE WHEEL!!! So i asked him "Dont you need to balance the wheel?" And he replied "Oh no! It still has the factory weights on so its balanced".....HUH!!??? LIKE HOW STUPID DOES THAT SOUND!!! Im a mechanic myself and EVERY TIME!!! You get a new tire installed the WHEEL NEEDS TO GET BALANCED AGAIN!!! Because you will run a risk of vibration!! And the weights that was on the rim weren't factory either because i balance my own tires!! So i knew he was lying to me! And that made me more angry more than anything because he thought i didnt know better and i can not trust a mechanic or even a tire guy that's dishonest. Being angry i just decided to leave it like that because i didnt want to fight with the tech guy since i had been there for 4 hours total and just wanted to go home. They came quickly when we were stranded by side of road 17 miles pst Baker at 11pm on July 3. They even dropped us off at a Denny's and let us unload our stuff from the already attached car, so we'd have somewhere to stay safely with everything til someone came to get us. It was also a totally affordable tow and offered to drop the car wherever we wanted or keep it in lot over holiday for $45/day. read more

My husband and I were on our way back from Vegas and a HUGE accident occurred right after the Baker exit and according to google maps we were headed towards doom. Therefore us being adventurous and risky, we took a back road, and although we were driving carefully there was an unforeseen pothole over the hill that was more than a foot deep that popped my front right tire. Now we were in the Mojave National preserve with no businesses in site and 40 miles each way to the nearest business establishment. Ironically another car behind us ran into the same pothole and popped the same tire, and I guess their triple A tow truck showed up earlier than ours and they had their spare put on. We walked over and it was an A-1 tow truck and we asked for his service while he was here to help another couple. He was happy to help and just verified our triple A membership and then we were towed to the Baker exit. On the way there our driver suggested several tire shops in the area (I have a Kia Optima and its a rare tire I guess...) and finally after all his suggestions we were able to find the one place in town that had our size. He dropped us off and made sure we were OK with the tireshop people and then went on his way. What could have been very miserable turned out to be a less grumpy experience thanks to A-1! read more

A-1 saved my life. After a trip to Las Vegas, my boyfriend and I were on our way home to LA on the 15 fwy. Due to the stop and go traffic, I got the foolish idea to follow a small path and avoid traffic. Unbeknown to me, the path google maps led me on was an off-road, dirt path. Due to the road conditions, two of my tires gave out. We were in the middle of nowhere 20 miles from the 15 fwy. It was the scariest moment and we were losing daylight. Luckily, the driver found us. A big shout out to Jesse for saving my girlfriend and I last night when we stranded off I-15 at night. After a day-trip to Vegas, my exhaust pipe broke loose from my catalytic converter in what felt like the middle of nowhere (no town within 30mi). I would classify Jesse's arrival time as incredible given the time of day (10:45pm), and the location we were in. He was able to quickly access the situation, and provide a temporary fix that allowed us to complete our drive back to LA in a timely manner. I would rather over heat in 100 degree weather then ride with this company again we had a driver named Tom he was the rudest human I've ever met he not only explained to us how ppl like us that call tow truck company's only want to abuse the system he didn't even say hi or offer us to sit inside his fing truck while he loaded the car. We where stuck due to my car over heating (my mother and I) and he said well that's not his problem where are we going... As we gave him all our destination Info I walked to the 4 door tow truck and opened the back door and he sharply said "how did you get in that door" I said ummm by using my hand? Our family was in our way to a wedding when our alternator died along I-15. It was was one the scariest things to happen to be without power late at night as Semi trucks pass you inches from your car. Randy showed up within 45 min and was a breath of fresh air.
