I called the office multiple times and at first they said that they would either replace the pieces or refer me to a furniture repair company. I received a quote from the furniture repair company they referred me to for $650. I sent the quote to the company and they said that they would only pay half. They dodge my calls, refused to respond to me, and I'm now left with furniture that is broken because of their carelessness and inexperience. Do not trust this company at all. They are the absolute worst! I am now planning to sue them in small claims court.

We were moving from Austin to San Antonio and I was surprised how quickly they go everything done. Einstein movers charged us almost double a few days before the move by adding an additional person. They were allowed to do that because they did not provide us with a contract. Michael quoted us right away, generated a contract, both of us signed, and his team was able to move our apartment completely on such short notice. We arrived to San Antonio and not a single thing was broken, they installed all of our furniture, and even took apart our door to make sure our refrigerator fit. They called me back said they'd be 30-45 min late. But it was an 1.5 hrs later. I wouldn't have cared if they told me ahead of time that it was going to be that late. Then it took 2 guys, 10 hours to load and unload 800 sq ft 1 bed/1bath/1desk apt. Except they left behind paintings, mirrors, my computer, random containers and items and didn't tell me till they arrived at my new apartment. My one bedroom set, full living room, 1bathroom, and a desk started at 10:30am-9pm. That's with me re-assembling my bed to free up the other guy to go help out his counterpart. My $2,700 Restoration Hardware Custom Upholstered white bed has dirty handprints everywhere. And they left a lot of things behind at the old place to save time- without asking me if that was okay. I really wanted to love the experience since it was highly recommended by a friend but I'm pissed off that I paid $1,000 just to move stuff by myself that they left afterwards. And not counting everything I moved in my own truck to help them finish up faster. Moving with elevators is tricky so they did try the best they could but sometimes you gotta know when you've bitten off more than you can chew. Y'all need to call for help when a 3-4 hr move turns into almost 10 hrs! This is total bull. Not happy. Not recommending them to anyone I know. I booked them through their online site (20% discount wooo) and spoke with April for the most part. She was courteous and friendly and helped us through this transition. The crew (Chris and 1 other gentlemen) arrived within the scheduled window and were finished loading my stuff within an hour. Everything was strapped down correctly and the inventory sheet was amended to add some items I left out on the online questionnaire. Unloading the stuff was just as fast despite heavy rain and only a couple of our items got wet enough to need be dried in the dryer. Definitely a fair price and would use them again in a heartbeat. When I called Alex, he gave me a much more reasonable quote and said, "A move like that is no big deal," which is exactly what you want to hear when you call a mover. You don't want them to act like moving your stuff is the hardest job ever and like they've never moved anything before. After a minor scheduling glitch that was quickly smoothed over, Alex and the crew completed the move very quickly and for the price quoted. One thing I liked was that Alex was easy to reach via phone and text...that increased my level of trust in the company. Andy really made the process seamless. He has been in constant contact and provided value and guarantee to the move. They worked with me on the pricing and we ultimately locked this move in with them. Their crews were prompt as promised and let me know the progress updates as I had moved prior to them responding to my Texas house to pack up our belongings. We had minimal damage to our belongings and have been in full communication with them to mitigate our concerns. (It was a small bathroom dresser that was not in the best condition prior to them even touching it - was able to fix it and they do bring tools with them in case of this scenario.) What is fantastic is that they are a LOCAL company for the Austin area that goes all across the country. You won't be dealing with a moving broker or a van line that will only give you estimates. They give you prices up front. It's been a pleasure working with them and we will consider them again for any cross country moves.

I am going to do my best to make a long story short...for years, my designer had used this company for her clients and because we have in turn used her for years, I trusted we were in good hands. We had just moved into a multi million dollar home where we used a reputable, 5 star company called Heavenly Moves and they were fabulous, honest and upfront about all charges before the move began. I purchased some furniture items from a local store called Four Hands and sadly, they do not deliver so you have to arrange for your own pickup. We have a couple of construction companies and over the years, I have used our trucks/guys to pick up items from Four Hands without any issues. Due to the fact that we had just moved and I needed quite a few items to be picked up, I decided to use Nice Moves so that we would receive our items in one delivery as opposed to multiple trips. Four Hands is less than 3 miles from our home, so I was a little taken aback when Danielle quoted us a price range from $405-$540 as they charge $135/hour. Danielle made sure to mention that it should not take that long, but they always quote on the high end. We agreed and setup a delivery date for June 16, 2023 at 10:30. On the day of delivery I waited for hours for my items and they did not arrive until 1:30! Not once, did anyone contact me to explain the delay. Two guys arrived, and while they were both very nice, professional and took great pains to avoid any damage to my house, one of the guys was older and very slow and I later discovered that they use him because he is very slow and can therefore charge customers more money. Even with my assistance, they did not complete the move until 3:30. I had to cancel multiple appointments and I was not happy. As they were wrapping up, I was told that I was going to be charged from the time they left their warehouse at 9:30 until 3:30 and that was when I saw red. Kasha, contacted me and after our discussion, I was left with the impression that all was well and that the original quote would be honored. What Danielle failed to mention was that when they pick up items for delivery, they open each and every box to inspect for damage, then repack the boxes, and then finally load the truck! If I had known that before agreeing to hire them I would have politely declined and used my own trucks and employees. I did not receive a call for payment until July 6. Again, I spoke with Kasha and it became obvious that she "forgot" our prior discussion and I was the put on the phone with I think his name was Eric, but after recent events, I think it was the owner Martin Harrelson. We had a colorful conversation where I agreed multiple times to pay the max I was quoted, $540. I am assuming he was not happy with that as to my shock and dismay, they decided on July 21, to illegally charge my designers credit card $850 because it was on file! When invoices are submitted, they are supposed to be approved first and they did not do have approval to do so and the actions of their billing manger, Barbara in Dallas resulted in multiple phone calls and emails between myself and my designer. Barbara not only hung up the phone on the both of us, but she flat our refused to transfer our calls to higher ups. I ended up looking up reviews to discover other people have had similar complaints and so, I took it upon myself to begin filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau where I was able to located Marty's full name. After an email blast to all of their offices located across Texas, did Martin Harrelson agree to refund my designer's card as Barbara was holding the charge as ransom until I agreed to pay the $850 balance! In the end, I paid the $540 that was in the original quote. I have emails as well as recordings of Barbara and another woman literally hollering at me as proof to show how horribly unprofessional this company is. I would NEVER, EVER recommend them.
