The owner, Matt, was friendly and accommodating when I first called for a quote and to schedule my move, but that completely changed once problems came up. During the move, the movers damaged my TV stand while carrying it upstairs. I personally saw the leg break off and they did not realize I had witnessed it happen. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to act as if it had already been damaged, saying, "Oh ma'am, the leg keeps falling off." The leg was not loose before the move. A large chunk of wood had been ripped off the stand. I tried to be understanding and simply asked if they could repair or reattach it. They never did. A few days later, while unpacking, I turned on my TV and discovered that it had also been damaged during the move and was completely broken. I contacted Matt immediately, just as I had done regarding the TV stand. For the TV stand damage, I was offered only $30. When I called about the TV, I was told, "I'm sorry Kianna, I can't do anything about it. I can send you the contract again." Paying hundreds of dollars for professional movers only to have your belongings damaged and then be told there is nothing they can do is unacceptable. The lack of accountability, customer service, and professionalism was extremely disappointing. If you choose this company, understand that if your belongings are damaged, you may be left covering the cost yourself.

Herbert, the gentlest and strongest mover I have ever worked with, showed up on time and helped me fill a 5' x 7' storage unit in exactly 58 minutes... and that included the 10 minute drive to the storage facility. Everything about this experience was top-notch. Even the moving blankets he used to wrap my Louis XIV chairs were lined with padded cotton batting, not those awful scratchy pads that feel like fiberglass.
