I recently hired A-1 to complete a home inspection for an upcoming home purchase. I was not able to attend the inspection in person so finding a reputable organization was really important to me. After Ron had completed his inspection, I received the finalized report (96 pages) 24 hours later with photographic evidence (both optical and thermo for installation) of all items of note that was mentioned in the report. Ron created a summary of all the items that needed my attention and then went into detail on every item. I then received a call from both Ron and Ellen to ensure I received the report and to answer any questions I had on the findings. They took their time with all of my questions and even provided some great "next-steps" suggestions that were extremely helpful. I am much more confident in the purchase of my new home now that I have a firm understanding of the maintenance awaiting me. I would recommend their service for anyone needing a home inspection. Ellen and Ron were extremely responsive, professional, and knowledgeable and I am very happy I went with them to inspect my home. Ellen made it very easy to setup an appointment and Ron was at my house early and ready to go. Ron is clearly very knowledgeable as he has been doing this for decades and was able to find a few things that I would have never even thought to look at myself. Additionally, Ron took the time to teach me a few things about the air conditioning system and the water system that I was not aware of with my new home. He also gave some recommendations on how to improve my home. I wasn't expecting any of this helpful information, but am very happy to have received it. After we were all done he told me he would have the report in 3 days. Instead, the report was delivered the NEXT MORNING. I read through it and it was very thorough and documented any and all issues with the house. I would recommend this company to any one who needs an inspection!! Ron was amazing! He literally explained everything to myself and fiancé. We learned so much! If it wasn't for him we would have been screwed out of a lot of money and a bad house if we went to the listing agents "recommended home Inspectors". NEVER go through a listing agents home inspector... The are partnered together so if the inspection goes well, the listing agent sells the house , and then the inspection company gets a cut on the side! Ron was so thorough and he explained everything as we walked the house with him! Any questions we had, he was happy to answer. The house we had inspected looked beautiful from first look but it was far from that! Bad plumbing, leaks, roof, electrical. Not good at all. Needless to say we're about to have another inspection done with Ron. This time I was able to look at things upon viewing the house that I would have otherwise not noticed...
